This bolt action pen features 62 individually cut pieces of wood. Instrument quality Zebrawood segmented with red dyed veneer.Between the cutting, gluing and letting the glue set while clamped before gluing the next section, it took nearly a week to create just the blank for this pen. I believe the effort and attention to detail are well worth the beauty. On each end of this stunning brickwork you'll find 24k gold plated bolt action components. The style "bolt action" refers to the way the pen's tip is advanced. Next to the 24k gold plated rifle clip, there is a bolt action lever that actuates the writing mechanism. Meaning, the pen operates just like a bolt action rifle does. The writing tip mimics a 30cal, rose gold tip. This pen will take a Parker style refill. A refill with a medium tip is included.
