An extremely useful introduction to Stalin's Russia.
Stalin's Russia, 1924-53 is an excellent introduction to the subject. Although designed for AQA and Edexcel AS courses it is a thorough treatment which can be used for other exam boards. The book is divided into chapters with an outline of key events, profiles, marginal notes and summary diagrams. The useful book lists at the end of each chapter provide further reading suggestion. I would highly recommend the entire series of Access to History for A level study.

Pretty useful
Doesn't cover the purges in the detail that I'd like, but there is a fairly good base to start on for most things Stalin.

Happy with them item.
In good condition, arrived fairly promptly, would order again. Very happy with this book, especially since I've been struggling with the Russian part of my A Level, very informative.
