After a full year I’m telling you it’s worth it! He’s had it for years and relied on it heavily as of late. He recently visited us again (he is my brother in laws childhood best friend and my brother in law lives with us) after a 1.5 years apart and not keeping up much. He let us know he was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few months after our last visit, and the removal left some of his memories scattered or completely gone. He’s relied on his few lines he wrote to learn about his own life and his friends and memories he’s forgotten. I thought he was joking at first because wow that just doesn’t really happen in real life. but he showed me the scar and the pictures from the coma that followed. I realized how precious our life is and how important memories are to keep, and bought one instantly after that. I’ve used my one line a day now for a full year and can read the above passage from the same day a year ago. I love the short lines and how i can just write for 2 minutes at most and have a memory saved. I highly recommend this way of journaling your life.
