I've used numerous glass cutters in the past but this just not acceptable. I've previously used both Toyo and Studio pro cutters and found both fine cutters, especially the Toyo. But I was teaching a glass class and had a limited budget so since I needed two cutters took a chance on these. I was hoping for at least acceptable if not great. Sadly, neither one cut well at all. This was especially for a new students where initially it was not clear if it was the students lack of experience with cutting or the cutters themselves. After trying both myself I realized while they could cut, there was a tendency often to break the glass and have it go off the score. Thus, after two frustrated students, I've learned my lessons. Even if you're a newbie to stained glass work, stay away from these. Just spend a few more bucks and buy at least the Studio Pro. "Professional" these are not! I will be returning both of them.

when I first opened it I thought it looked a little cheap and there are no instructions that come with it so if you don't already know what you're doing you will have to find a video on YouTube. It does not come with the oil that you need to use it. But I feel it is a good value for the money stop.

Should have heeded other reviews. Leaks oil onto glass,total mess. Useless!

This is a great glass cutter....easy to use and comfortable with the pistol grip. Very pleased with it.
