awesome look and function, but not great for outdoor use
I bought these to help shade my outdoor pond - which is 2ft deep and 5ft wide. This product is great for an indoor tank that gets cleaned very regularly, and they are extremely easy to clean; however if any buildup occurs on them they will sag so their maintenance is high. There again, an indoor aquarium gets cleaned regularly so these are a good fit for it.

Not sure
I haven't put it in the tank yet. I got the 60mm for a 75 G tank. I think it will be the perfect height. It might be taller but a little floating is fine with me. BUT boy does it smell plasticy. That is why it is not in the tank yet. I have rinsed and rinsed and I am going to let it air for a few days. Who knows if the fish get along with the smelly chemical. I don't want to take the chance.
