300 CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) Exam Questions and Answers 1st Edition

I bought this book to help me study for my up-coming CEN exam. I found the book to be very poorly written and inaccurate. It is loaded with typos and mistakes. For example, one of the answer explanations states "acetaminophen is the antidote for acetaminophen toxicity". The answer's commonly contradicted themselves stating that answer "A" is correct but then explains why answer "A" is considered wrong. Additionally, there are numerous questions that aren't relevant to the ED environment. For example, there is a question about assessing pt understanding of d/c teaching of a medication a pt is given after aortic valve replacement. I highly recommend NOT purchasing this book.

The questions are poorly worded and the answers are often incorrect. I should have listened to the other reviewers. You get what you pay for, don't count on this helping you to pass the CEN.

this will NOT prepare you for the CEN exam DO NOT BUY!!! These are better for the Nclex if you ask me. I took and passed the CEN and this thing was terrible

Study guide for my wife the nurse. She needed it and liked it.

Most of the answers are wrong or the letter corresponding to the answers are wrong. This book just made me more confused :(

Found several typos and inaccurate information in just the first few pages of this item. Layout of answer options is difficult with options being on two separate pages making difficult to observe all answers simultaneously.

A lot of the questions in the book contained typos. For the most part a lot of the rationals for the answers helped but in some cases they contradicted the question.
