It includes auto-accompaniment for various genres and offers a total of 10 instrument tones, making it a versatile choice for musicians of all levels. ## Description desertcart.com The slim, lightweight, and overall compact nature of Casio's Privia PX-100 digital piano means you can pack it just about anywhere. When you're not tickling its full 88 keys, you can stash the polyphonic keyboard in a closet, under a bed, or in other compact locations where most digital pianos refuse to fit. The scaled hammer-action keyboard offers touch sensitivity for beautiful piano tones and a feature called New Sound Source which is said to give the PX-100 sound quality to rival that of an actual grand piano. Auto-accompaniment provides exciting, dynamic, and realistic background arrangements for pop, jazz, rock, and a range of the other genres. The PX-100 can provide complete orchestral accompaniment on command, too. Other primary tones (voices) include strings and pipe organ, with 10 total tones. A layer feature allows simultaneous sounding of 2 tones, while a split feature lets you split the keyboard between 2 different tones. Lesson assembles functions that enhance your practice sessions, which you can devote to right-hand part only, left-hand part only, or both hands--whatever requires the most practice. You can also record songs for playback at a later point (up to 5,200 notes). An onboard metronome offers adjustable tempos and beats. Adding effects makes notes sound richer and deeper, and the PX-100 includes 8 effects: 4 reverbs and 4 choruses. Use the built-in music library to learn songs and develop coordination. There are 30 preloaded tunes plus memory storage for 10 downloadable songs. The PX-100's 30 preloaded piece include Chopin's Fantaisie-Impromptu Op.66, Satie's GymnopΓ©dies 1, Beethoven's "FΓΌr Elise" and Sonata Op.27-2 "Moonlight" (first movement), as well as classic songs like "Over the Rainbow," "Someday My Prince Will Come," and "Let It Be."What's in the Box Keyboard, a user's manual, and warranty information. Auto Acompaniment mode Has MIDI in/out, Headphone out, Mic in ports Includes Pedal, AC adapter, and Piano instruction book Review: Wonderful! - I love this piano. It has a beautiful, real sounding tone, and the keys are weighted perfectly. It was a great value! It doesn't have a lot of features (some of the keyboards now days are more like computers than instruments) which is part of the reason I wanted it. I just wanted a piano - and this is extremely close to the real thing at a fraction of the price. Review: BUYER BEWARE - I bought this item & the transpose function didn't work - might be a problem w/ the product - I know someone else who has the same problem. So, I sent it in for repair per their instructions. But, Casio repair service is the worst I've ever seen. They're even worse than Best Buy & that's pretty bad. They rec'd my item for warranty work on 11/23/04. At first I was told the turnaround for the repair was 5-10 business days. Then I was told that starts from the log date. THEN, I was told that it's 10-15 business days from the log date!!! They didn't even get around to logging it in until 12/7/04!!! They had the product 9 business days prior to even logging it in!!! I may never see my product again. So beware, if you purchase something from them, I hope you never have to have it repaired! ## Features - 88-Key Scaled Hammer Action keyboard with touch sensitivity - Sound Source rivals the sound quality of a grand piano - Auto-Accompaniment provides exciting dynamic and realistic background arrangements for pop, jazz, rock, and other genres - Complete orchestral accompaniment on command - Also includes strings, pipe organ, and other tones, 10 in total ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0001Q25P6 | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Brand | Casio | | Brand Name | Casio | | Connectivity Technology | Interface | | Connector Type | 3.5mm Jack | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 out of 5 stars 15 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00079767360924 | | Headphones Jack | 3.5mm Jack | | Included Components | not included | | Instrument | Digital Piano, Piano | | Manufacturer | Casio | | Manufacturer Part Number | PX100 | | Model Name | PX 100 | | Model Number | PX100 | | Number of Keys | 88 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Skill Level | All | | Special Feature | Includes original power supply, stand and foot petal. | | Special Features | Includes original power supply, stand and foot petal. | | Style | Digital | | UPC | 079767360924 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Casio - **Number of Keys:** 88 - **Skill Level:** All - **Special Feature:** Includes original power supply, stand and foot petal. - **Age Range (Description):** Adult ## Images ![Casio PX-100 Privia 88-Key Digital Piano - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Ytuj3gjXL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can we connect this piano to a laptop ? If yes, how ?** A: Yes, using a MIDI interface. Since my laptop does not have a MIDI interface built in (and I don't know of any that do!), I used a MIDI-to-USB adapter, a variety of which are available inexpensively from Amazon. Here is the particular one that I bought, which has worked well for me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ACGMOA6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1.As a caveat, I only occasionally use the piano / midi adapter combination; the piano is not near my desk, so most of the time, when I am entering music into MuseScore or something similar, I use a small, 25-key keyboard with a built-in USB interface that fits on my desk. But the midi adapter not only lets you input notes into the laptop; it also lets the laptop control the piano as an output. If my needs and setup were different, this could be a very useful feature. **Q: What are the dimensions?** A: 59x15x9.5 inches **Q: I started playing on a upright wurlitzer. How much of a difference is there between a upright and the PX-100? Also what size are the headphone jacks?** A: the px100 is great as far as keyboard touch goes, and if you are a beginner I'd say it's fine to learn on. I would prefer an upright with good touch, generally yamaha or steinway only, but if you are looking between this keyboard and a crummy upright, I'd go with the keyboard. 3.5mm regular headphone jack X2-13 years as a competitive pianist **Q: What type of music stand attachment should i buy to accompany the casio px-100 privia?** A: https://www.amazon.com/Casio-Privia-Digital-PX-100-PX-500/dp/B0001ZA4PKThis is the one that is designed for the px-100 though I don't think they produce it anymore. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful! *by W***S on August 15, 2006* I love this piano. So, I sent it in for repair per their instructions. But, Casio repair service is the worst I've ever seen. They're even worse than Best Buy & that's pretty bad. Excellent Keyboard *by D***R on July 8, 2006* Positives: If weighted keys are important to you, this is an excellent step up from a keyboard without weighted keys (especially if you originally learned how to play on a real piano like myself). I live in a small dorm room and this piano tucks neatly into the corner having a width of less than a foot. The included sustain pedal also works very well. This piano comes with a wonderful music book with the music for 29 classic piano songs and some fun songs to play or listen to. These songs are already built in to the piano and sound like they were recorded by a real musician. It is wonderful to be able to see the beat displayed and be able to slow or speed the tempo of these songs in order to learn them and play along with them. The easily recognizable songs are Beethoven's Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonata, Bach's Menuet, Debussy's Arabesque, and Satie's Gymnopedies. Also the demos but not sheet music are provided for Over the Rainbow, Let it be, Happy Birthday, and a few other modern songs. My favorite out of them all and a real challenge is Chopin's Fantaise-Impromptu. Negatives: It is a step down with features though as this keyboard only has a few. There are only 8 tones, but the grand piano tone, which is really the only necessary one, is excellent. Many of the features are utilized by the control key and depressing different notes on the keyboard to change things like Piano Key (F# to C to F), keyboard touch (Off, weak, normal, strong), chord mode, reverb type and chorus type. There is a handy quick quide sheet for this and is not too big of a deal. The only major negative I would give this piano is the speakers which are not quite powerful enough and don't produce too great of a sound. They are sufficient though. To make up for that the keyboard can easily be plugged into any speakers through the convenience of having two headphone jacks. The biggest positive which was not mentioned above is the price which easily justifies all the negatives making this a superb value. If you need a small, 88-key, piano-like keyboard for the lowest price, this is the product you are looking for. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/23509868-casio-px-100-privia-88-key-digital-piano](https://www.desertcart.be/products/23509868-casio-px-100-privia-88-key-digital-piano) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
