Be extremely cautious about machine drying, care instructions notwithstanding.
While, at the time I made my purchase, it was the only bedskirt available in white from Amazon with a 21" drop length, I am extremely disappointed with this product. The "platform" of the skirt, the square of fabric that goes directly underneath the mattress, is made of a very thin polyester webbing, as opposed to woven fabric. Despite having washed the bedskirt prior to putting it on my bed for the first time according to the care instructions on the package--in cold water, tumble dry on low--the webbing of the platform melted together in the drier and the platform all but disintegrated when I tried to pry the melted pieces apart, forming holes after its first wash. While these are concealed under the mattress, the platform itself is tattered and partially pulling away from the skirt fabric, and I am very concerned it will fall apart. Moreover, the actual "skirt" itself is so thin as to be nearly translucent. While it does disguise what's under the bed, the skirt does not hold a firm shape on its own, and looks blousey and sloppy, as opposed to the neat, firm shape pictured. I've uploaded a photo of the skirt on my bed for reference.I would not recommend this product.

Perfect! Split seam for railing! Hides everything!
I had my fingers crossed this would be exactly what I needed and it was! I ordered a new king bed and set the cross bars (where the box springs sit) to the highest setting to maximize storage but it looked terrible. I had 23 inches exposed from the floor to the top of the box springs. I knew this one was only 21 inches but it was the closest I could find. This pics are straight out of the box so I haven’t steamed out the wrinkles yet. The fabric is super soft so if you’re looking for a hard, stiff fabric, you’re going to need starch or another item otherwise, it’s perfect! So excited to have found exactly what I needed.I couldn’t find in any of the reviews where anyone referenced whether the skirt had slits do the bars but this one does! I def recommend!

It looked like I draped a cheap sheet on the bottom to ...
In the photo the fabric looks stiff and crisp. Wrong. This is THIN and flimsy material. It is thinner than a sheet. I tried to work with it. The bottom line: It looked like I draped a cheap sheet on the bottom to serve as a skirt. I had to send it back.

Not as Pictured
Not happy with this purchase. I am giving it a 1 star rating only because the length and size were as stated, but nothing else is. I am one to always read reviews and, for some reason, I failed to do so on this product. I think I was so happy to find a bedskirt that was the length I needed, which was going to save me the time of making my own. What I received is NOTHING like the photos that were used so I would like to know whose photos they are. The fabric is so sheer and see through and the corners are not one continuous piece of fabric as shown. Also the "box pleats" really don't exist or lay as in the photo either. I will be returning this purchase and will take the time to just make my own, which will look exactly like the photos they used.

Use a roll of paper towels instead
This is one of my worst purchases on Amazon, I shouldn’t complain it was only 18 bucks but I have a really heavy mattress and I also have a disability so it’s very difficult for me to lift up the mattress and install an item like this but I was up for an adventure. Sad, I know. Anyway, I got the mattress up after some struggling laid out the item and noticed that not only was it extremely wrinkled but incredibly thin. I mean you can see through it. What good is a bedskirt if I can see all the stuff it’s supposed to be covering up? I almost took it back but figured no let me get it on the bed since I got the mattress up already and maybe after I stretch it out and use my steam cleaner on the wrinkles it will look better. It seems a little shorter than 21 inches leaving some daylight between the bottom and the floor but after struggling with the mattress I don’t feel like getting out my tape measure. I put the mattress back down on top of it and as expected I needed to pull on the dust ruffle a little to get it situated. Well with one slight tug it literally came apart at the seams. This thing is garbage. And for something that’s a hassle to install it should include a warning about how flimsy and ridiculously made it is. I guess I just need to stop buying the cheapest stuff I find it’s just not easy to save a buck these days, now I’m going to turn down the thermostat So it’s cool enough in this place to sleep under my covers.

So it seems like it will hold out for awhile
As others have stated the fabric is thin. I was able to pull and work it onto my box spring, without removing matress, alone without it ripping. So it seems like it will hold out for awhile. It is a true 21 in drop as stated. The cloth isn't as smooth and crisp as pictured. The overlay section doesn't look as pictured either. It's just two peices that touch with nothing underneath to make it stiff. Overall, it works for what I need due to length.

Pretty--great for hiding underbed storage
These are light and very attractive. I hoisted my bed up on risers to make way for a bunch of drawers and other storage, so really needed the length of this bedskirt. As promised: it's pretty, and very long. Good buy.
