I bought these as a gift for my husband last spring and it's one of the best gifts I've bought. My husband does competition barbecue and these gloves are a must have when removing meat or moving it around on the hot grill or in the smoker. We carry them with us at all times for competition and they grip the meats wonderfully even with sauces on them, plus they're easily washed & dried. We've never had a problem with them in the year we've been using them and they get used weekly. I even use them for removing hot pans from the stove or oven. We'd definitely buy them again.

OK, but does not fit so well (fingers dont' go all the way to the bottom). Also gets hot if you hold the pan for longer than 15 seconds (like when draining bacon grease from pan into grease can). Works best to take a whole chicken, porkchops, etc. out of the pan. Don't attempt it with a barbeque unless it's a gas barbeque and the flame has been turned off.

they work for certain things if you try to take something out of the oven before letting it cool off you will suffer. however they do work if you are smart and treat them like you would an oven mitt. Id give it more stars but I hate the color and the smell.

Nice gloves, but they are not intended for a man with MAN HANDS. I bought them for my husband but it looks like I will be the one wearing them... or I'll have to return. :(

Bulky, hard to pick up some things. Doesn't work as well as good old fashioned cloth gloves.

A little cumbersome (sticky) to get on and off, but work as promised.

Honestly, not sure why I haven't bought something like this before. All of my other hot pads and mitts can now be thrown out. Direct steam from a pressure cooker takes 10-20 seconds to even feel warmth. Not to mention they are tacky to give you an easy open jar opener.

I bought these for my husband. They would be OK to use carrying a serving dish to the table but they are not suitable to use to get a hot pan out of the oven as you can feel the heat almost immediately.
