Quntis Wireless Monitor Light bar with Remote & Touch Control, 40cm PC Curved Computer Monitor Lamp Auto Stepless Dimming and Color Temperature, Eye Protect Desktop PC Screen Anti-Blue Light Bar

After years of working in the control room at various theatres, I have become accustomed to a much dimmer working environment with tightly focussed warm-coloured task lights. Combined with dark themes on my software and desktop, I have noticed a massive reduction in eye strain. This light is a great task light when the keyboard is your only physical task, or in combination with a desk lamp that is focussed on your paperwork. There are lots of adverts around for "super-bright" and "daylight" lights, which are all the opposite of what I want. In fact, finding a light that is gentle on the eyes can very tricky. This light is capable of searingly bright, cold-coloured light but is also capable of the kind of light I want. I suspect the dimmest, warmest extent of this light will be too extreme for some but it suits me well. The beam shape and penumbra are just right to cover the keyboard with only a small amount of spill. The swivel feature means that it can be angled to miss the screen completely while illuminating the keyboard fully. I prefer this kind of lighting to back-lit keys as i am almost fully a touch-typist but still need to glance down occasionally so need an easy way to aim fingers at keys; the function keys and top-row number keys in particular are nowhere near burned into my muscle memory. With back-lit keys, my size 10 hands cover up most of the illumination, thus defeating the purpose of such keys. The body of the light feels as though it has been milled from a solid piece of metal so I am confident it will survive well in my work bag alongside my laptop and all the other bits and bobs that make up my portable office. The blurb and photos indicate that the light is intended for desktop monitors but I am actually using it on my laptop. It works well for me. I have a portable power supply anyway for when I am away from mains power for extended periods and, if I use that instead of taking power from my laptop, I can work for a long time while still leaving spare power in my laptop for later. For shorter stints, taking power from my laptop is not a problem.

Great product, my monitor has narrow bezels and it is well designed to not cover the screen at all. No glare.

I was using an old fashioned angle-poise lamp on my desk but decided to try this instead. Immediately it provides much more light than the old (halogen 20W) desk lamp. I can select warm white, warm, white or brilliant white colours. You can dim and brighten the intensity to suit your individual needs and also there’s an inbuilt sensor which can alter the brightness automatically dependent on environmental ambient lighting conditions. I use this light in the corner of our lounge fairly bright (mid range) on a warmer colour, but then tend to use it on brilliant cool white when I’m using my pc. So it’s used in anger as both a workstation light and as a general purpose background light when we’re watching tv. Very versatile and useful. A little bit pricey really to be honest, but it is a quality metal built construction. Mine sits well on to of my particular Samsung monitor but I could see it being annoyingly wobbly and easy to topple on top of a much thinner bezelled monitor, like say an iMac screen which has very thin tapered edges. You need a fairly think top edge on your screen for this to sit sturdy and not fall off or move whenever you press one of the touch sensitive control buttons upon the top edge of the light. All in all, I’m pleased with it as it lights up my desk and frees up the space that a free standing lamp would otherwise occupy.

Wanted one for a while and wish I’d bought sooner. Great brightness even with sun coming through window. Lovely warm and natural daylight colours. Elegant and sleek design. Webcam fits ontop. I have a 24” curved monitor and this looks perfect. Lights up keyboard and desk area lovely. Joy to work with it on in dark mornings too. Wireless remote a fantastic touch. Can’t speak for longevity but this is the business

Stable, and looks great on a monitor. Really good light settings warm/cool and able to dim your your own specification. Super easy to set up on any monitor with adjustable size/counter weights. Recommended to anyone with a monitor to save your eyes.

Brought for my brother as a gift but I liked it so much I brought one for myself and use it all the time especially as I love to create things and this is great lighting for my desk. So easy to use just press the on button and there is a separate one for brightness then colour aka white or a yellow tint and just slots right onto the monitor plus easy to adjust as well.

Nice product, the fixture is actually simple and pretty effective. It's sprint loaded with a couple sizes so you're pretty likely to get a good fit on your monitor. Brightness seems good, a few more lighting options than I was aware of, which is nice. For the money I paid I really cant complain except... the item I received is clearly second hand. I don't mind second hand products at all....but don't send me a product as 'new' and give me an open box with all the component bags ripped and stuffed back in empty...If a product is returned then surely it gets checked by someone? Anyway, the product is nice at least.

Franchement, très bonne surprise. La lumière est douce, bien répartie et n’éblouit pas l’écran. Le réglage automatique est pratique et la télécommande est vraiment un plus. Facile à installer et très discrète sur l'écran. Je ne pourrais plus m’en passer, je recommande.

This thing changed my life. I am facing a window when working on my screen, and had to blind one half of the window. But then I could not read the papers and had to keep the light on in the room, ... which in turn created shadows and shining. This device solved it all. The screen is perfectly readable, and my papers are perfectly readable. It adjusts itself depending on the lighting and can be adjusted from cold to warm wihite. The brightness is also steplessly adjustable. A pure wonder, a serious power saving for the light in the room, and far less strain on my eyes..

This is the best purchase for a home office. I spend 8 to 10 hours a day at my computer, many times analyzing data. Eye strain is real. I tried several desk lamps, better lighting, etc before stumbling on this. It puts the light right where you need it! So many choices for you to settle into the perfect light for you. Brightness and levels of warmth can be changed. It automatically goes off when I shut down my computer and on when I restart. It works seamless for me. I have had it for a month now and my headaches from eye strain are gone.

This LED monitor light bar easily mounted on top of my monitor, and provides good task lighting on my desk. It doesn't light up the entire surface of my desk brightly, but it does work exactly as the manufacturer shows in its photos. I saved space on my desk by eliminating my desk lamp, and now use the light bar to have a well-lit area where I can read, write and type. It is nice that it has multiple light temperatures (bright white to yellowish) and brightness settings. BTW, this USB light works with a power bank, handy if you have a power failure! Nicely made, with a secure mounting mechanism. The only thing I would change is a knob to control the brightness instead of a pushbutton -- you have to cycle through levels of brightness. However, once it is set, you probably won't change it again. RECOMMENDED!
