Gynoii GPW-1025 WiFi Wireless Pan-Tilt Video Baby Monitor w/HD Infrared Night Vision,Two Way Audio &Time-Lapse

I am happy with the Gynoii cameras - I find it a lot better than the brands you may find in the stores.Pros:The set up is super easy and fast. The manual is clearly written. I would suggest hitting the reset button when you first receive the camera (that may be for my own peace of mind). Installation of the camera can be be wall mounted or left on a flat surface. The app is user friendly and works fairly well - though, I have noticed that my cameras take a while to load now sometimes and it isn't until I close all of my other apps on my phone that the app wants to run correctly. That may be my wi-fi issue though. I especially like the recording features and the snapshots that I can take while watching my baby sleep or play in their crib. The grandparents like the guest account to be able to sneak peak on their grandchildren to watch them sleeping as well, or like my mom, during naps, in the morning, during the night. You can turn off guest account if you do want them having that much access though. I wish there was a talk feature enabled for guests though.Cons:In regards to volume, the talk feature is VERY low. Even when you can be heard through the camera speaker, its very distant. I have to scream into my phone for my kids to barely hear me over the speaker. The 1025 has an adjustable speaker volume toggle for the lullaby being played which is nice. I would like to see the same volume toggle for the speaker output for voice over - the lullabys play at a nice volume. The ease of moving the camera through your phone can be slow, but it is really simple to use. Since, it does not pan or tilt very fast, watching a toddler run around a room can be a little hard because of the lag.Lastly, I have some suggestions1.Speaker volume: place the speaker on the front of the camera so that the children can hear you. its currently located 1/2 way under the pan/tilt camera part and that may play a role in the muffled sound coming from the camera. If not, use a better speaker.2. Alerts: Can we add a feature to the alerts to maybe have an option to put in 1-5 minute intervals or longer (user preferred). I get constant updates for a raised arm and kick of a leg, one after another. For example, I received an alert for the baby moving his head, then again for his arm, then again for moving his head, so that is 3 alerts, where I would prefer to only get 1 since they all happened within 1 minute of each other. Also, if I am viewing the live view to the room after receiving the alerts - I am STILL getting the alerts - there should be a way for the alerts to cease while the live view is occurring.3. Automatic scan: Similar to other baby monitors (big name brands- motorola, summer infant), it would be nice if the app would have an option to scan each monitor periodically (5 sec? 10 sec? user preferred?)4. Mounting: Can the wall mount be directly on the bottom of the camera? I had a motorola camera that i was able to easily attach that to a nail I had already in my wall. Now with his monitor, I have to add another nail into the wall.5. Hardware: Previously, the power cord has been short, though the new cameras are being sent out with a longer cord to allow wall mounting above the crib at a safe distance (wi-fi waves)6. Guest Account: Enabling talk feature for GuestsUpdated 11/29/17: I have to drop my rating to 2 stars. So after using this consistently now for over 18 months, I have to say, I will be looking for a new wireless baby monitor for my next child. The app is consistently crashing and won't let you back in. It will tell me I have the wrong username/password 20x in a row, then a few tries later with the same "wrong username/password" I am allowed access to the app, but then it gets stuck on loading the screen. Forget about emergencies - between the loading, and the delay is on this app is frustrating. None of my suggestions were reviewed or updated, so it still remains a mediocre camera and app. The camera pan/tilt is painfully slow when trying to position the camera through the app and when trying to record, any movement, the video is pix-elated, therefore useless for playback. Also, you cannot set up the camera through the app using Android, you will need IOS. The customer service is scarce and respond over 48 hours later, if ever.

We were using just an audio monitor for my baby but I got sick of hearing the white noise machine over it and was having to turn the volume way up to be able to hear if my baby was fussing, so we decided to look into video monitors. This monitor had everything I was looking for:-night vision-pan and tilt ability remotely-watch from my phone-two way audioI was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw that it came with a wall mount to attach the camera to the wall. The set up was so easy. I downloaded the app and the app walked me through set up. I had it set up in less than 5 minutes. The app is so user friendly and intuitive. It has a lot of features that I really like such as ability to record, time lapse, and set the sensitivity of the motion and sound alerts. I set it up so my phone alerts me when my baby makes a sound or moves.I haven't tried the lullaby music as my baby sleeps with a sound machine, but I think maybe when she is a bit older that will be a good feature.I have really really crappy internet at this time and this camera works well on it. It sometimes lags a little, but I just exit out of the app and restart it and works fine. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking for a baby monitor. Ordered this product after researching different reviews and was ultimately unsatisfied with its performance and dependability. We have good enough wifi that we're able to stream Netflix/Hulu/HBO etc without problems but this wifi monitor did not seem to have a reliable connection- the screen would frequently go black and high resolution rarely worked for more than a few minutes. I started out with the camera in the baby's room and from across the room (7ish feet away placed on a dresser) you couldn't tell whether or not he was even in his crib. We also had the problem that the sound wasn't working. The camera would make random clicking noises when you open the app, when the room light was turned on or off, etc and these clicks were audible enough to wake my toddler. I did like the feature where you can set either audio/motion alerts to high/medium/low sensitivity and you would get a notification even when the app isn't open. I liked the capability of remotely moving the camera angle (pan/tilt) but there was a delay so it was kind of hard to get a hang of it as you just use the touch screen. I returned this product.

I purchased a expensive one "Motorola" before this one and honestly it was a waste of money ($180) so I returned it and ended ordering this one. The Motorola was freezing a lot, the tilt was a few second behind, it didn't have the melody option, the vedio quality was very poor, and the app that goes with it was super bad. This one "Gynoii" has it flaws like only the main account user can do everything. My husband and I share the same account but he can't talk nor tilt the camera. There is not a power button so it seems that to have it on it has to be plugged in 24h. I also been trying to log in from my iPhone connected to data when I'm outside and it seems like I can't it only connects on wifi. The tilt at time can be 2-5 seconds behind, It don't have the room temp option but in my case I'm not interested so much in that. Overall I like it and I will recommended this one instead all most of these cameras. It works great set up was easy and I'm happy with the product. As stated above it had its flaws which company should upgrade or work on those things to make it perfect but for the price and quality I give it a four start rating. Pretty good camera and all of these cameras has some type of flaws. The good type out weights the bad so again I will highly recommend.
