Review: Best Impulse Purchase! - This was the best impulse purchase! I had been thinking about getting an overbed rolling table for a while now. It seems like the most indulgent thing when it's not for a medical necessity, but I couldn't help it. I spend most of my spare time in my room on my bed as I don't have a desk setup or office. And I've tried a smaller lap desk with legs that seemed perfect a few years ago, but lately felt very lackluster and bit frustrating. Basically, I had gotten a smaller wooden lap desk with adjustable legs. Seemed great for a while, but I had noticed that if I wasn't very careful when getting on and off my bed, anything on the small table would fall off, including drinks, food, pens, paper, etc. I dealt with it, but when I saw the overbed rolling table, I wanted it so bad! It came pretty fast with 2 day delivery. I little heavy to get in the door, but manageable. It had all the parts including an extra screwdriver and wrench! Nice sturdy metal wheels were easy to install. The desk portion I put together with a power drill instead of the provided screwdriver, but that was my personal choice to save time. The only challenging part was adjusting the height and length, so just to be certain when putting it all together, you will need a level! Having a level is crucial when it comes to doing the actual adjustments! But with the tension handles, adjusting itself is easy. Just loosen them just enough to gently tap the bars in the correct direction (while watching the level!!!), then tighten them up when desired height/length is achieved. I freaking love this table! The black is so sleek and the wheels glide across my hardwood floors. Everything fits (17.3 in laptop, desk pad, mouse, planner, phone, drink, food, everything!) without worrying about something falling off the back or sides. And no matter how I move on the bed, nothing is falling off onto my blankets! Edit: July 2024 Just a small update on this product. It's been a few years since purchase and I still love this table. I still use it every day and have never regretted getting it. The only problem I've ever had with the table is a wheel on one side of the table. I'll admit, getting metal wheels instead of plastic is a real step up, but the way they're attached to the table legs is a little cheap. It's supposed to be screw it from the bottom into a plastic housing that goes inside the leg, using the included wrench to tighten the bolt above the wheel to keep it steady. However, over time I've noticed mainly one wheel on the left side kept coming loose. The plastic housing that was supposed to keep it in got kinda ... messed up. It just wouldn't hold onto the wheel and keep it steady no matter what I did. Finally, I got a washer/bolt set from Walmart for a couple bucks and basically redid the housing using 2 extra washers (one outside above the wheel and another inside the housing) and a bolt on the inside of the housing, tightened it all up, and done. Fixed. Haven't had an issue since. Only one wheel has done this, all the others are fine, and since the fix, no more problems. I wouldn't call it a problem with the table itself as it was mainly a piece of plastic that went bad and wouldn't do its job. All in all, still a great purchase with a cheap fix.
Review: Good table. - As expected. Arrived quick and intact. Set up, I really did not need instructions for. Easy enough. Had a knobbed screw or two that did not seem to want to thread, but which then threaded into another of the attached nuts on the assembly. Only one would not go in to any. A short note (and 2 stars) in one of these review pages resulted in another knobbed screw showing up today, and without further chasing it. I'd say excellent response from the vendor. While no need for contact would be better, overall, five stars. Table is solid, has a good weight, rolls easily on linoleum. Fits nicely over both a lift chair and a hospital bed, raised just slightly. I have the "L" legs installed with the longer part vertical (inserted into the legs), so it assembled slightly narrower and taller, but these can be flipped. It fits the bill very nicely for our need. Plentiful table room for mom. Put a foot on the bottom of a leg, loosened 4 screws, raised one table end, tightened. Same on the other end, a step back to look, one quick tweak, and it was raised and close enough to level. (You can sharpie a mark on the legs if you'll move them regularly. I won't be...)(Question to self: would a kitchen measuring cup work as an impromptu level?) Would make a good keyboard stand, too. Purchased March, 2020? 1-18-22 update: A few issues to note: The square black plastic "cap" insert on the base of the legs also has a cup which holds a nut in place, inside the leg. The wheel screws into this nut. Well, one of these 'cups' broke. It also functioned as a spacer, and the wheel was loose and floppy on the bottom of the leg. After taking the cap off and removing the wheel, I put a few washers on the wheel shaft (to take up the space that the bottom of the 'cup' used to), and put the nut back on and tightened it. So far, so good with the rest, but why not tack the nut right to the metal inside the tube? No plastic to fail, then... The table height adjustment is locked by 2 screws on each leg, with knobbed plastic grips on them so that they can be turned by hand. The redundancy of two per leg is good. The bad for me is that my table has been moved from bed to EZ chair to bed, every day, 20+ months. The legs got regularly banged into the foot-board of the bed, and the handles of the adjustment screw have been breaking. Not really changing the height regularly - have done it only twice since purchased. Once was last week - but I am missing those 'handles', even if only because I know they broke. Table is otherwise holding up fine. Have had a few people comment on the utility of this table. (And: Answer to self: The new sippy-cup with the horizontal stripes seemed to work as an impromptu level last week, so why not... Test it first, on a level surface.)

**Q: What is the weight limit for this table?**
A: Most overbed tables of this design have a 300-350lb weight limit (weight distributed across table).

**Q: Can a larger 27” imac sit comfortably on this. or is it a bit too much computer. yes i realize there may be stability issues.**
A: It’s actually a great table.  I have a 17 inch Dell laptop on one side with a giant cooling pad under it. On the other side I have a 24 inch monitor. I’m using it from my recliner so it’s not stretched out like it would be for a bed but It’s really sturdy.

**Q: What is the thickness of the desk? And the weight capacity? Could you drill a whole through the desk?**
A: It is heavy duty. There are 1 inch metal like rails on the front and back of the shelf that handle the arms which are pushed in from either side. The shelf is not quite 1/2 inch thick and is made of wood so you could  drill through it. It does move side to side and there are knobs to keep it where you want it.   It is heavier than I thought but very sturdy.  I like it.

**Q: I purchased this bed table three years ago and love it. However, I need to replace one of the wheels. Any information on how to do this?**
A: I took one off and measured it at a hardware store.  The tread is 8mm x 1.25.  The stub is 25mm long.  You can find many replacement casters on Amazon that match those measurements.  I ordered a 3” diameter casters because I need maneuverability on carpet.   Work great.

This was the best impulse purchase! I had been thinking about getting an overbed rolling table for a while now. Absolutely love this product ..will purchase 2 more for both bedrooms . I didn't put the back on and it made a wonderful shelf for my speaker bar that goes on my surround sound . Fits everything from my queen bed to my recliner ..easy to adjust size and height .. very sturdy .easy to move . And it's very hard to scratch or mark up and is the easiest surface I have ever cleaned.. been cleaning since I was 6 and am now almost 50 and I wished everything was this simple..one of those products that once you buy it you will never need to buy another desk/table for anything ..side note .. just moved in to my new home and haven't gotten tv trays or table set up yet for eating or anything and used this and it was absolutely perfect for 2 people and tipping or wobbling was not an issue ..was better than any tv tray i have ever purchased or used and was very roomy for 2 .. and it's great for board games or card games for 2 also .
