Best Impulse Purchase!
This was the best impulse purchase!I had been thinking about getting an overbed rolling table for a while now. It seems like the most indulgent thing when it's not for a medical necessity, but I couldn't help it. I spend most of my spare time in my room on my bed as I don't have a desk setup or office. And I've tried a smaller lap desk with legs that seemed perfect a few years ago, but lately felt very lackluster and bit frustrating.Basically, I had gotten a smaller wooden lap desk with adjustable legs. Seemed great for a while, but I had noticed that if I wasn't very careful when getting on and off my bed, anything on the small table would fall off, including drinks, food, pens, paper, etc. I dealt with it, but when I saw the overbed rolling table, I wanted it so bad!It came pretty fast with 2 day delivery. I little heavy to get in the door, but manageable. It had all the parts including an extra screwdriver and wrench! Nice sturdy metal wheels were easy to install. The desk portion I put together with a power drill instead of the provided screwdriver, but that was my personal choice to save time. The only challenging part was adjusting the height and length, so just to be certain when putting it all together, you will need a level! Having a level is crucial when it comes to doing the actual adjustments! But with the tension handles, adjusting itself is easy. Just loosen them just enough to gently tap the bars in the correct direction (while watching the level!!!), then tighten them up when desired height/length is achieved.I freaking love this table! The black is so sleek and the wheels glide across my hardwood floors. Everything fits (17.3 in laptop, desk pad, mouse, planner, phone, drink, food, everything!) without worrying about something falling off the back or sides. And no matter how I move on the bed, nothing is falling off onto my blankets!Edit: July 2024Just a small update on this product. It's been a few years since purchase and I still love this table. I still use it every day and have never regretted getting it. The only problem I've ever had with the table is a wheel on one side of the table. I'll admit, getting metal wheels instead of plastic is a real step up, but the way they're attached to the table legs is a little cheap. It's supposed to be screw it from the bottom into a plastic housing that goes inside the leg, using the included wrench to tighten the bolt above the wheel to keep it steady. However, over time I've noticed mainly one wheel on the left side kept coming loose. The plastic housing that was supposed to keep it in got kinda ... messed up. It just wouldn't hold onto the wheel and keep it steady no matter what I did. Finally, I got a washer/bolt set from Walmart for a couple bucks and basically redid the housing using 2 extra washers (one outside above the wheel and another inside the housing) and a bolt on the inside of the housing, tightened it all up, and done. Fixed. Haven't had an issue since.Only one wheel has done this, all the others are fine, and since the fix, no more problems. I wouldn't call it a problem with the table itself as it was mainly a piece of plastic that went bad and wouldn't do its job. All in all, still a great purchase with a cheap fix.

Very versatile. A must have ..
Absolutely love this product ..will purchase 2 more for both bedrooms . I didn't put the back on and it made a wonderful shelf for my speaker bar that goes on my surround sound . Fits everything from my queen bed to my recliner ..easy to adjust size and height .. very sturdy .easy to move . And it's very hard to scratch or mark up and is the easiest surface I have ever cleaned.. been cleaning since I was 6 and am now almost 50 and I wished everything was this simple..one of those products that once you buy it you will never need to buy another desk/table for anything ..side note .. just moved in to my new home and haven't gotten tv trays or table set up yet for eating or anything and used this and it was absolutely perfect for 2 people and tipping or wobbling was not an issue ..was better than any tv tray i have ever purchased or used and was very roomy for 2 .. and it's great for board games or card games for 2 also . Might not need my table now since purchasing this .. would also make a great cutting or craft table top when u need to lay out something and move to dry out the way . Or anything of the sorts . Best desk/table I ever used besides dining room tables. Just buy it you won't regret it .and if you stop using it for laptop trust me it has multiple uses so you cam always use it . Not a one item type thing them no longer needed . Came undamaged and packaged properly as well . And came with all the tools u will need to assemble and parts .

Excellently Designed & Works As Advertised, Packaging May Be a Little Frustrating
Bought this for an upcoming anticipated recovery period after major surgery and long bed rest. The assembly was pretty straightforward. It has relatively few parts that are reversible so you can’t screw up and put things in some wrong order. It also handily provided not just the little stamped-steel wrench but also a full-out Phillips-head screwdriver with decent rubberized grip handle. It also is pretty well engineered, with double threaded adjustment bolts for each support post so you don’t have any issue like some furniture kits with tightening the clamp only to have the rod or post “slip” past it. Good even tightening on both sides gives you solid adjustment strength, even if it does make things a little awkward at adjustment times when you’re rushing to lift or pull out a rod and then have to hurry to tighten twice as many bolts to secure it while maintaining its hold.I think it would be a great improvement if the manufacturers could give us some little notches or numerical indicators maybe in white print on the black metal of each rod so we could better eyeball an even adjustment of all four support posts. As it is, you’ll want to take a level to it at least for the height adjustments. The little wheels have two that lock so you can make the placement pretty secure once you have it all worked in.We have a full King size bed and this thing accommodated that width and height as promised with minimal fuss, however you might not have much leeway to adjust the side-to-side to give one side or the other of the bed predominant access. Your best use of this will definitely always be in the middle of the bed.If I have only one real “complaint,” it’s about how the main desktop board was packaged for shipping. All the main support strut pieces were spiral-wrapped in this filmy plastic foam sheeting. On the open support pieces, this could be easily torn and then unraveled off the pieces. But as you can see in my second photo, they also wrapped the struts of the desktop piece the same way, somehow weaving it right between the support beam metal and the wood, in such a tight space that when I went to remove the packaging, some of it got wedged tight in the little gap and so far I have not been able to get it all cut free. I tried gently pulling it out, but the foam bunches too easily and wedged itself.I may try cutting it again when I’m less afraid of risking scratching up the veneer, but for now all I settled for was getting about 99% of it off and a little wedge chunk still remains stuck, but is mostly now hidden/covered by the backboard. All in all this is a perfectly good over-the-bed table. The desktop area is actually pretty large so should serve as a good bedroom work area or eating surface (I recommend coasters/placemats/foam computer pads though, since you don’t want drink rings to ruin or bubble the inexpensive wood veneer). And if you’re like us and don’t have any space under your bed so the usual “hospital style” floating cantilever-style designs won’t work, this is your best bet at a working bedside solution.
