Received the grab bar and within about 45 minutes it was installed. I'm 84 years of age use a walker to get around, this was exactly what I was looking for, would buy again and probably will

Very sturdy

First, the chrome finish is really nice. However to say this is a grab bar is not really correct. A real grab bar is 1-1/2" diameter. This is more like 1" diameter. Also, it came with 6 drywall mounting screws. This would hardly classify it as a grab bar capable of sustaining a 300# load, which is required for an ADA grab bar.I did make it work for me though as I replaced the screws and mounted it into solid wood backing. Also, it does work for me even though the size is not ADA compliant. The seller really should clarify their description.

Ugh. This is not an ADA grab bar.
Low quality. If looks are more important than functionality and reliability, then, by all means, buy and install them.
