Coton de Tulear Dogs
Learn as much as you can. They are quite different from other pets and are not part of the AKC. Originally dogs of Madagascar, they are unique with special temperament. This books starts your learning curve, but certainly you can find others. Check cotondog.com and look for Thumbelina and you will see what I mean.

Real waste of money
This very small booklet (6" X 9" / 26 pages) has only about 3 pages total (in huge font) of information specific to the coton de tulear, which is very general and found on many websites. Wikipedia has more detail. 6 of the 7 photos inside the booklet (each takes half a page to fill space) look like pet photos from the Internet. Almost 7 pages of this skimpy booklet are essentially ads for the author and her website, or ads for 2 other books, and an additional page is blank. The rest is "boilerplate" information that could apply to many species of dog. You can get far better information for free.

Not worth the price
Even though the price was little but so was the book. Most of the information I had already learned on Dogs 101 and really didn't find anything new. I liked the photos but it is true you get what you pay for. Next time I will pay a little more and see if it has at least more photos and breed information. I would like to see information posted from actual breeders and get their opinions.

Love the Coton breed
I loved this book. it was informative and had nice pictures. Gave some of the history of the Coton too. Being that the Coton is still a relatively rare breed, anything I can get my hands on about them is worth it.

Not worth the money
Bought this book on Kindle, and think the price I paid for the amount of information it gave ( got all the same info on Google ) is totally absurd...had I have seen this in a book shop ( which I am sure would have only been a pamphlet) I would have passed on the purchase...A total waste of anyone's money.
