Filament ultra silk pla

I usually avoid silks because they can be finicky to print well due to stringing or other issues. However, without even drying this filament it printed absolutely flawlessly the very first time. I wasn’t expecting to like this color but it’s such a pleasing gold color and the shine on it is really nice! The spool came very neatly wound and worked great on my P2S with the AMS 2. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an excellent gold PLA option.

Got this on a whim and honestly pretty impressed. Spool came wound nice and clean with zero tangles, which is always a relief when you're just trying to get a print going. Ran it at standard PLA temps and it stuck to the bed instantly without any drama. ​The finish is gorgeous—super shiny with that classic silk glow that hides layer lines really well on curves. It printed a lot cleaner than some of the other budget silks I've messed with, and the color pop is awesome in person. Definitely keeping a roll of this on hand for anything that needs to look shiny and cool.

Gorgeous color and shine, exactly what I was looking for. However, that's where the good part ends. Very poor layer adhesion and delamination is an issue on thin parts. I print a lot of pats that have 2-3 walls thickness only and layer adhesion is a must. Most non-silk filaments work great without issues and parts come out strong. With silk filaments it is hit or miss. I bought gold silk filament from the same brand and it worked well. This red however, has really bad layer adhesion. I dried it upon arrival as I always do, and ran through calibration that I do with every filament. No matter what temperature and speed I tried, the parts were very fragile and easily separate at the seams. I ran it slow, without cooling, with cooling, lower temps, high temps - virtually no improvement. Spent hours trying to dial it in, and had to give up unfortunately. It looks like whatever additives manufacturer adds to get the shine and color makes this filament to have poor layer adhesion. It may be perfectly fine if you print thick models with thicker walls and good infill, but it won't work well for thin walled models or models with small parts - delamination is inevitable. I will look for another brand.

Silver - Ultra Silk PLA After printing for three years, I finally decided to give silk PLA another chance and explore it more than I have in the past. Whether my previous experiences were due to inexperience, saturated filament, poor-quality filament, or simply incorrect settings, I’ll never know. What I do know is that I’ve finally found a silk PLA that I thoroughly enjoy using! Whenever I try a new filament, I like to put it through its paces—checking how well it prints, how it looks, how it adheres to the bed, and the overall quality of the finished print. Eryone’s Ultra Silk PLA checks all of those boxes for me! Honestly, that’s often the case with the filaments I purchase from Eryone. With this, you get great value, quality, shine, ease of use, bed adhesion, neat spooling, and so much more! Thank you to the Eryone team for putting out yet another great-looking, high-quality, and easy-to-use filament! The cardboard spool, while eco-friendly, can be limiting for automated multi-material setups. Final Thoughts: Eryone’s Aurora Dream Quad PLA is an absolute showstopper. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, this filament will breathe new life into your creations. It’s not just a filament—it’s a visual experience that transforms ordinary prints into magical pieces of art. Highly recommend!

Wonderfully shiny. The bronze is absolutely a better gold than the one labelled gold, however there is a slight tinge of green to it. Even still, a great gold color, probably one of the best silk golds out there. It's worth mentioning that the adhesion is obviously not going to be as good as PLA or PLA+, and that small prints will be extra brittle. If you're printing little figures, practical items, or things with bridging or thin walls, this might not be the best for you, but if you're printing statues, trophies, or little decorative things that require no assembly and don't have thin walls, this is a perfect filament. The filament is quite stringy, and requires frequent drying for the best print quality. I have not had any snapping or breakage issues, and I've experienced no clogs with a 0.4mm nozzle. Overall, I would definitely recommend this filament if you're looking for an actually shiny and actually gold colored PLA Silk.

Amazing filament! Could have printed using stock profile but decided to run basic calibrations (Temp Tower, Flow Rate, Pressure Advance) to dial it in. Prints like a dream! Very minimal stringing (just 1 or 2 whisps). No extrusion issues, flows very smoothly. Very neatly wound spool. Right from the box to the printer. No moisture at all. Print settings: .4mm nozzle Temperature - 205c Bed - 55c Vase mode with Line Width of .65 The colors are brilliant (my pics don't do it enough justice). Perfect separation of all 4 colors. Thoroughly impressed with this and can't wait to print some more models!

I've been using this filament on my Bambu Lab X1C with great results. One thing to note is that the spool is cardboard, which is great for the environment but can wear down in the AMS over time. To prevent any issues, I simply added some tape around the spool edges to reinforce it—problem solved! Performance-wise, this filament prints FAST. The X1C handles it like a champ at high speeds, and layer adhesion is excellent. It sticks well to the bed with no warping issues, and the final prints come out with a super smooth, shiny finish. The colours are incredibly bright and vibrant, making prints pop! If you're looking for a high-speed, high-quality filament that works great with the Bambu X1C, this is a solid choice. Just reinforce the spool a bit if you're using the AMS, and you're good to go!
