Quality cable. Thick power wire with not too much plastic jacket. It's a good compromise of price and quality. Not the best out there but pretty good and at a great price. The only complaint if I have to find one would be with the crimp on connectors. They were slightly difficult to crimp on the wire however that would mostly be from lack of correct tools but a hammer seemed to do the trick when the pliers wouldn't. Conveniently the power cable had it already installed/crimped on. The power cable was also cut at 12" or so which is ideal but it would be nice to cut it to a desired or custom length suited to your vehicles needs around the battery.I've installed 4 different cable kits and I highly recommend this one. The knuconcepts brand was my second choice when I was shopping around Amazon and went with this one because it had the remote wire included. I believe the other brand had the remote on the rca but I would prefer a separate cable. The two brands are good and probably some of the best on Amazon and I would buy this one again.

I do like these cables a lot. I was excited to actually find a true 4 guage amp kit on Amazon. It seems that A LOT of these kits on Amazon are true 8 gauge claiming to be 4 guage. I do agree with a lot of the other reviewers with the fact the connectors are a little cheap/flimsy. This is actually a plus if you don't have the crimping tool that is required for the sturdier connectors. I was able to take needle nose pliers to the connector for ground to catch the ground wiring. I will probably upgrade all the connectors in the next few weeks. My Amp is a THUNDER500.1 and I have two 12" Terminator subwoofers. The sound is great. I feel that these products together will last a long time. Buy this kit!!

Bottom line is you are getting 4 gauge power and ground wire. The fuse holder is well made however, the power wire crimps are very poorly designed. They do not like to crimp evenly and I found myself prying them open and using a vice grip to lock them down. Insulation jackets were also mediocre and I replaced with industrial heat shrink tube. I dealt with 2 kits so that's a loooot of crimps. The Speaker wire crimps went on fine.The RCA wire set is fair quality. Not monster cable but thick enough to give you reliable shielding in a high power consumer grade system.I bought this kit for $25 and had to buy a couple boxes of crimp ring terminals from Home Depot which was about another $10. For $25 I am pleased but at $30, might as well just buy a $40 kit with better hardware considering the drive to Home Depot and cost of extra hardware put me at about $40+ anyway.All in all still a solid kit due to accurate wire gauges.

The Good: In this kit is that the gauge is true and the jacket on the power and ground is very good. The ring terminals and forks are well made. the fuse holder is very good quality.The Bad: the rca's are cheap. the power line is short. the ground line is unusably short. thankfully you dont need to power anything off the remote line because joking aside I think theres 4 strands of wire in the jacket.they include some wire loom is extremely thing and cheap but I'm not sure if thats good or bad.Thankfully I bought 2 of these kits because they were so cheap, figuring one could be the backup for future. Used this kit to install sub woofer in my car with new head unit.I measured pretty carefully.. I thought! 17' for a Jeep Cherokee barely made it and I didn't like my engine compartment installation but had to make it fit. (length)Ground cable is short for my install since I had to ground it under the rear seat.I ended up soldering the ends lightly or the fuse holder wouldn't hold or you would just be clamping 1/3 of the wires.It was too big #4 soft multi strand to fit the sub's connectors. Had to split the wires cut out about 1/3+ and solder the ends into two branches to fit above and below the set screw and bracket.My bad. I haven't done one of these in a long time. I should have looked at everything up close on the sub and then just gone out and bought the right gages.The screw connectors and battery connectors were very cheap and soft. I used stronger ones.I won't buy one of these again. It's too easy to just buy locally to exact measurement.IMHO

This wiring kit had everything I needed to install my amp and more. The ground was a perfect length, I didn't even need to cut it. And the power cable was very thick; the copper wire is high quality and definitely reliable + a lot of insulation. The ends to connect to the battery and to the amp were perfect, and I love the gold color. This is a very high quality and CHEAP kit, I would definitely recommend it! True 4 gauge wire and everything you need.The only thing I thought was a pain in the ass was the installation of the fuse, it took almost an hour. But I don't think other kits have the power wire already cut for the fuse to be installed.

Didnt come with the cable ends to the amp as shown in the pic, so 2 stars. Also beware, power cable is SHORT, barely had enough to wire to the trunk on a Subaru WRX, make sure you have enough length for your vehicle.

They kit is a great kit, my only complaint is the negative wire could have been alittle longer for my install, (so I could have used the factory bolt) but that was my fault for the placement I chose. The kit works great and my only real complaint would be that the power on wire and the RCA's were not made into one molded wire like most kits, but the power on wire is top quality.
