>>The laser locks on the rail AND the trigger guard of the gun. To install, use the given Allen wrench to FULLY un-screw the 3 long thin screws so the unit separate apart as 2 pieces, wrap the 2 pieces around the trigger guard (make sure the activation wire run inside the guard is not being crushed by the trigger guard), tighten up the 3 screws again until the laser is lock on the rail & the trigger guard. >>Please note: Impatiently pulling apart the 2 pieces, overturning or turn with large force on the very compact and delicate long thin screws or the windage and elevation screws will break the polymer holding the metal screw or the screw thread, or bend/break the thin screws.
