Great Fob….nice style…
I received this a day early, so when I saw that it was out for delivery, I was over joyed. It takes a min to put together, the little pin that you take out to swap the key blade took a min to Jimmy back into the hole (you don’t have to do the key blade swap, that’s just the way I did it from a video I watched on YouTube…you can get the blade that comes with it cut by a local locksmith like I did with my last car I had to get a new key fob and it only cost me like 10 bucks to get it cut and he went out and programmed it for me as well) after you get that pin on you have to place the back on with the spring and turn it clockwise or counter clockwise can’t remember I know I got it wrong the first time and had to unscrew it and turn it the opposite way that I had it turnt. So far I’m digging the sleek style of it….I’ll probably buy another one and buy a second fob and swap that shell out for this one as well.

Quality product
If you are planning on not having a new key cut you have to take the blade off the hinge with the roll pin as the button on the new one is bigger and will not fit stock key. As far as changing inards if you are not good at DIY then take it to a mechanic of locksmith.Once I got the blade changed over to the new hinge everything works and works great! Both my stock keys the rubber was coming apart on the buttons this one uses plastic which will not do that. No more Chevy emblem but this fob looks WAY better. It is a little bit bigger and a little heavier but it’s QUALITY.

Rather Nice.
With some persuasion. the old one comes apart. Best thing to do is use a very sharp razor blade (small like a pen size) to slide the old one open and avoid damaging the board inside. once open you can remove it. the new ones going to use the exact same 1/16th roll pin. USe a roll pin punch to remove the pin from your key and the new one. you MUST use the new key spring button release and piece where the blade locks into. the old ones not tall or big enough to fit. NO BOWTIE LOGO COMES WITH THIS. Transfer yours over and use either superglue ( a literal tiny dabble. not a lot incase you need to remove it). The screws can NOT tighten til its fully clamped. the alarm bhutton will get jammed. Tighten until a think paper size gap is left. check the button and if it sticks loosen the corner one only. I did the Equinox and my Camaro fob. Nice upgrade and wont degreade so easily.

No
You're going to need a car locksmith to cut the key and program it. I threw mine away.

I broke my mom's keyfob
I thrashed that thing like fast. So I upgraded to this. It's went together fairly easy but it won't open the trunk with the button. Good thing it's not her daily car I don't think she has even noticed that yet and it's been months. Other then that its sturdy and the buttons are hard plastic and i dont think the buttons will break like the rubber ones did.

didn’t come with an emblem (read)
the key works fine. making sure the spring worked for the switchblade function was obnoxious. really bummed about no emblem and i wish they would have made it a part of the title of the product not buried in the description. if anyone knows where i can get an emblem please lmk

Works great!
Works great!! Swapped the key blade instead of having it cut, took a min to get the spring twisted back but work and looks great!

Exactly what I needed
Thought this was going to be cheap plastic for how inexpensive it was, but to my surprise it's made well and it wasn't hard to swap the insides out of my old key fob.
