I had forgotten how bad battery-power fountains are for long term use. It's been several year since I last had one. I certainly remember now!They seem to only run a few hours before the pump just quits. It'll go again, after resting a couple of hours, but ain't nobody got time for that. Also, if it runs for even a millisecond without water, it's fried for good.Just pay the extra $15, get one with a cord, and try to hide it with fake ivy or something.P.S. I gave it an extra star because battery-powered is probably fine if you only turn it on when company comes.

don't buy
I didn't get the fountain on this picture so I got my money back. The fountain I did get was tiny and cheap like so tiny! Not worth the money I seen this same one at 5 below store!

does not come with a power plug
comes with a place where you can plug in a power plug. does not come with a power plug. runs via battery for about 30 mins. This thing sucks in every direction.
