This product produces about one tablespoon of "Icee" and that is after a lot of turning of the crank. Had to be operated by an adult because the child couldn't get results. Not worth a penny! Take your kid to 7-11 for an icee. WowWee ICEE Deluxe Slushy Machine

Sorry to see all the bad reviews, I know this is a toy for kids but I really like this slushy maker, I wish the whole thing was bigger but it was made for kids, I got one used so it came with no flavor packets, but I buy snow cone syrup at my local grocery store to mix in the ice,When I first got it, I would agree with other reviewers it was not shaving much ice from the whole cubes would have taken all day to shave one cube, so what I figured out to do is break up the ice cubes a little in a zip up baggy then I dump the broken ice into the maker and it shaves the ice pretty fast, as an adult I really enjoy this toy, and I use a desert bowl, its bigger then the tiny cups that came with it, yes some small bowls will fit into this maker and I get a good amount of shaved ice,This maker does work and try my tip on crushing the ice first and you will have fun with this iced maker like I do!But if your looking to make large amounts of snow cones/slushy's for a lot of people then you need to invest in an electric ice shaving machine, but this would be fun for kids.

I rarely write reviews, but this toy is too horrible to have anyone waste their money on!!! It is junk! BTW, it's $25 at Toys R Us, so I wouldn't recommend buying on amazon. Secondly, you have to put like two ice cubes inside at a time, then turn the crank forever, and it makes like a tablespoon of slushed ice. Save money, buy a bag of ice, smash it up, and add some flavoring to it. Don't buy this!

My daughter saw the commercial and begged for this. I didn't even check reviews as she had asked her grandparents for it and they purchased it. What a waste.....Can't stand how commercials lie to our kids.Used the item once and didn't even want to donate it to goodwill.... More kids would be disappointed.I spent a good 5-7 minutes cranking the handle and couldn't get enough "icee" to fit in a a 1/4 of a teaspoon.The trashcan gets it!

Just read all the other ONE-Star reviews and add a bunch of swear words and you'll get the over all review I would write for this.You would be better off taking a sledge to a block of ice, you will put out the same amount of effort but get back a magnitude more of shaved ice.I guess I can stop as I am over the stupid 20 words I HAVE to write about it.

I bought this at Toys R Us. It is a major piece of junk. I cranked forever and got what I thought was a full cup of ice. When the flavoring hit the ice it all melted to the bottom of the cup. And when I say full cup the cup that comes with it is like half a measuring cup. My little girl was very dissappointed. Like the other reviewer said it was also impossible for my 7 year old to do it alone.Bottom line... do not buy!

Didn't buy from Amazon because if I did, I'd return it. I wish I'd saved the box. IT'S TERRIBLE!!!!! Used once and is going in the trash. Tried every method. My daughter used her hard earned money to buy this for her little brothers. I wish I had read the reviews first.

this toy stinks it made my brother cry on his birthday he was so sad because it didnt work. It said icee would come out of the machine when you ground up the ice, but all that came out was a few drops of water. He spent the whole night shopping for that perfect gift, and all he got was junk.
