Deadpool 4: Deadpool vs. S.H.I.E.L.D. Paperback – January 1, 2013

This book was great, a fitting ending to the story arc that spanned the last few books. However, the "throwback" issue at the beginning was ok, definitely not as good as the first two. Also, keep in mind that this book is dealing with the aftermath of the previous book, so there are a few sad parts. Overall, I dorecommend this book.

Deadpool after fighting all dead presidents and getting a SHIELD agents spirit placed into his body is being denied the money promised. And if agent Preston is in him who is the agent Preston walking around up to no good? Deadpool is trying to get his money and find agent Preston a new robotic body. Basically he is at war with SHIELD and finding a lot of sneaky things going on all involving a high ranking SHIELD agent Gorman, who is also one holding money from him. We get to see parts of Deadpool's past too. So we see him at war with SHIELD, a 10 million dollar bounty on his head, bad agents, fake agents, spirits and magic. It is very exciting all trying to get owed money and Preston back to her family. LOTS of surprises.

The title caught my attention. Dedapool and Coulson? I'm so there! It's pure Deadpool, so completely enjoyable, but there is a lot in here that references prior events (North Korea, anyone?) and the end piece leading into the next thing I'll have to buy. So, yeah, the middle. But a very enjoyable one.Buy it, read it. 'nuff said.

Duggan and Posehn have done an amazing job with Deadpool, and Volume 4 is no exception. Somehow, they've consistently managed to make Deadpool, a character that can easily be a gimmick, both hilarious and heartfelt.I highly, highly recommend.

Okay, so I have been a fan of Deadpool for decades. I just started reading this series and I must say- this is the best series in comics I have read.For Deadpool fans! This should be considered adult reading as it is quite violent and contains super dark content, but I love that sort of thing, so... Yeah.

A really great story. SHIELD is a force to be reckoned with.. but Deadpool is an even greater force... find out what happens here.... after you've read Volumes 1-3 first.

My 11 and 14 year old boys are obsessed with Deadpool. They can't wait for the next issue. Deadpool is an anti-hero who is, I gather, a little insane and very funny.

Not much of a comic reader but I bought it as anniversary gift and hubby said it is really good.

The last volume in a set of four, Deadpool vs S.H.I.E.L.D concludes (sort of) the story arc spanning Dead Presidents, Soul Hunter, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and Deadpool vs S.H.I.E.L.D.After the events in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Deadpool is struggling to keep himself together and concentrate on finding a way to get Agent Preston out of his head. His search for answers (and his thirst for revenge) takes him to a brutal clash with S.H.I.E.L.D. With Agent Coulson's intervention and Agent Preston's cloned robot running amuck, it's all Deadpool can do to not kill every single person in his way.I totally recommend this to all Deadpool fans and to comic book readers just looking for a good story, but I suggest you read Dead Presidents, Soul Hunter, and The Good the Bad and the Ugly first!

Great comic

As a lover of all things Deadpool this was always going to be a great read. When a S.H.I.E.L.D agent gets on the wrong side of Deadpool you have to feel sorry for that guy. This is deadpool at his most lethal but at the same time we see the good side of Deadpool when he puts himself in danger for a friend.
