Work as described.
Versatile lights. Temporary or permanent they work. And for the price I have some extras now.Not the strongest magnets but for the price they work good. Fork out cash if you want the best but these work well and are good to have as extras for things that come up.

A steal at the offered price-- but be prepared to tweak them a bit
As others have stated, these are the same lights you buy at the auto parts store for $49.95. (Yes, I checked.) So let me tell you guys about my own personal experience--They arrived VERY quickly-- a couple of days. Well packaged and delivered to my door. (Love my Amazon Prime.) But when I opened them up, one of the bolts inside had come unscrewed-- which was no big deal. I peeled away the bottom protective layer, took the four phillips screws off the bottom plate, found the rattling screw inside the light and found the rattling nut inside the magnet. Tightened it all up in about two minutes, she was all put back together. For my application, I am towing a small Ford Escape, which has a roof rack. So all I had to do was to set these mag mount lights on the roof of the SUV, then attach them to the roof rack using a couple of cable ties. Dropped the cables down inside the rear hatch of the SUV, ran it back out the front door-- and underneath the hood-- and dropped down to the plug behind my truck. I secured the cables down up front with four more cable ties. Simple and easy.As others have stated, don't expect the magnets, strong as they are, to hold in the extremes of high speed tows. But all you have to do is use cable ties or bungee cords and you're good to go.I would have given this a five star rating if I hadn't had to do some basic quality assurance maintenance on arrival-- they should have caught that at the factory-- but hey, these were a HUGE discount over buying locally, and they work great!

Poor Quality
1 light was lit solid, the other light was very dim. I couldn't see a way to remove the lenses to do troubleshooting withoutbreaking the lenses. The magnets were very weak and wouldn't stay in place without strapping them down. I used these lightsone time to tow a log splitter 15 miles and when i got home I removed the magnets cut off the wire and threw the lights in the trash.

OK for the price.
The lights are just OK. But for the price, you can't complain alot. Out of the pkg, one bulb wasn't making contact properly or was bad. I changed the bulb. Then it was ok. My biggest complaint would be the strength of the magnets. If you are out towing like you are on a Sunday drive, they would probably be fine. I was towing on the Ohio Turnpike. The speed limit there is 70mph. Anytime I got close to 70, or a semi went by, the lights would fall off the roof. Luckily the car I was towing had an antenna on the roof at the rear. I ran the light wiring from my hitch, under the hood, out by the windshield, and back the roof. I tie banded the wiring to the antenna on the roof. That way when they fell off, they couldn't go any further than dangling on the rear window. Otherwise they would have likely hit the road and no longer been around. I pulled over and put them back on the roof about 4 times. Then just gave up.

Magnets are too weak
These trailer lights work OK out of the box, but if you buy them, better find some way (duct tape?) to more securely attach them to your trailer -- the magnets alone are too weak - particularly if they are exposed to the wind. They seemed secure when I attached them to the top of my trailer fenders, but the first time I used them, one of the lights fell off, dragged on the pavement and broke off. Al that remains is the magnetic base. I was doing about 55mph on the freeway at the time.

Worked as Expected
The lights worked for what I needed. I did not give the magnets a chance as I was afraid they would fall off at the speeds I would be reaching (so that portion was not tested). The brightness of the lights were good, the product appeared and felt to be well made. I have not experienced any issues period with this product so far after 1 time of use.

Good for how much it costs.
Worth the money. Magnets are not strong but a rachet strap was enough to hold it steady. It was on the back of a corolla for 22 hours straight and went through 45 minutes of heavy rain. The length of the wires is long but they are exposed to the elements and are loose, but nothing tape couldn't handle. Overall a good alternative if you don't want to pay 50 dollars or more.

Magnets don't hold
We bought these tow lights to use on my car, when we pulled it behind our motor home. Well, we stopped after less than 2 hours on the road, and the lights were just dangling on the rear window of my car! If it weren't for the wiring, they would have fallen off all together. Very poor magnets, will not stick. This was a waste of money, and we ended up returning them. We've had magnetic tow lights in the past with much stronger magnets, and never had a problem with them just falling off.
