Knife Sharpener Sharpening Stone, 400 Grit (10000 GRIT)

I used this stone to hone a razor blade. The quality is great. The grit is very fine. I spent a few minutes with a dull razor blade and after putting it through a 4,000 then a 6,000 grit and finally on this, it was ready. I stroped it and had a great shave with it.

Suspicious of other reviews - feels course to the touch, more so than a 4K stone I have. The 4K left a better edge, actually. Great stone! Very soft as expected. best used as a whet stone. you would remove a lot of material dry. use for fine tuning a sharp blade. Not for use with large nicks or burrs! (Use a lower grit stone to clean up the blade and this one for fine edges. A dull knife is NOT a safe knife!

I will attempt to return this. This is not a polishing stone at all. It is coarser than my KING 6000 grit which creates a brilliantly sharp polished edge on all my knives. I tried this wet and it scored the polished edge. It states combination stone on the stone and package, why? Not happy with it. If it's something I am doing wrong let me know. But nothing sharpens and polishes my knives for sushi like KING.

As other reviews have stated this is blatantly not a 10000 grit polishing stone, it is far too corse for that. I am currently in the process of returning this to amazon DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!
