**Q: I am 140 female and can do a handful of unassisted pull-ups. What is the best band weight to buy?**
A: The company site stats the purple band for you weight and amount of pullups unassisted(if a handful is 5-10), when you buy the item on Amazon they have a page with what band works for you. Good luck and blow those pull ups out of the water

**Q: Very interested in ordering 1 of each set but I’m curious if each color weight band come in sets of 2/a pair?**
A: Nope, it came with one band per order, not a set of 2 per order.

**Q: What is the quality of the resistance band bar? Some foam handle easy to crack.**
A: This one won't, the foam on his handle is ripstop and very durable, waterproof and sweatproof.

**Q: What should I expect from these bands for 8 bucks?**
A: I'm not sure which band in $8, but to answer your basic question: These bands offer assistance while doing pull ups and there are many YouTube vids available demonstrating their use.  One of the illustrations on the Amazon page is a chart where you plot your body weight and number of pullups you can currently do now and it will advise the appropriate band to purchase.  The goal, obviously, is to do pull ups withOUT any bands (and there are some fitness gurus who say start with a low bar and do modified australian pull ups and not to use the bands at all) but the advantage as I see it is that you can work the entire range of motion and activate the muscle chains required (and stay motivated since you are now able to do more pullups).  The bands, BTW, will force you to have better form (back straight, etc) which presumably will make the transition to unaided pull ups sooner/easier.
