My wife loves this and the baby does to. It's a 4 star product and not a 5 because it's hard to put on and doesn't officially support wearing the baby forwards (you can but it's not meant for it so it's a bit uncomfortable)

Oh how I wanted to love this carrier! I currently use several different carriers/wraps- though I am by no means a babywearing expert (yet! Give me a few years :). I have never tried a mai tei before though, so I thought this would be a great option to try the style before investing in one of the name brand ones.When the carrier arrived, though, I immediately noticed that it is very cheaply made with cheap feeling fabric and very light/cheap feeling padding on the shoulders. I figured I should at least give it a shot before jumping to conclusions but alas, though it claims you can tie it in the front, back, or side, there were no instructions to be found anywhere.I am uncertain as to the market this product is aimed towards. If you are new to babywearing, you most certainly would need instructions. If you already have some experience then this product is not up to the quality that you would expect. Bottom line, if you already have an Ergo, Tula, or even an Infantino- stick with that. I am giving two stars, because yes, it compacts quite nicely so if you don't have space to pack your ergo this could be an option. I do think there are better products at this price point.

I am an avid babywearer and I was really excited to try this carrier. When it first arrived I was concerned. It wasn't packaged in a box m, but in a zipped plastic bag. I opened it and noticed the fabric felt sort of papery. I was really surprised when I got it on though. The shoulder straps were not long enough for me to tie in the back like I prefer, but my 17 lb 5 month old still felt weightless. The back panel was a little tall on him, so I had to roll the waist, but it fit him fine after that. I love that this has a pocket, but I wouldn't feel comfortable keeping anything but a diaper in it. Anything in the pocket will press into baby's back. I have not tried it with my 30 lb two year old, but I imagine it would work for short outings for her.Overall I really like this carrier.

I like this carrier but I could not get it to work for a newborn. It is very comfortable and I'm hoping to use it more in the future.

Tootsie Mama provided great customer service before I placed my order, and then quickly sent the carrier after I ordered it! The carrier is great too! Very comfy!
