Finally found the one!!!
I was using an adapter to refill the sodastream cylinders and they were really touchy. Too much gas pressure and it wouldn’t go, you’d have to depressurize the adapter and start again. This goes straight into the sodastream machine and you go directly from the larger cylinder. I’ve got a 5lb hooked into it. Had a small gas leak at first because I didn’t use a wrench to tighten down the connection at the cylinder. Once I used the wrench, no leaks!Best investment you can make for your soda stream! Get a food grade cylinder at any beer making supply shop and save hundreds not using the stupid $15 exchange system. You have a slight upfront cost with this hose and a cylinder but after that, refilling/exchanging 5lb cylinders is cheap! I figured it cost me about $1 per sodastream cylinder refill when I was using the refill adapter. This is going to reduce cost even further.Glad I went with this and dumped the refilling nonsense. I will update my review as time goes on and if anything goes sour.UPDATE 2/8/21:The adapter was actually sucking water into the hose line after the soda stream injected c02 into the water. I corrected this with Teflon tape on the adapter that screws directly onto the sodastream. What happened was since it wasn’t sealed up fully, it created that suction effect that would cause the white injector tube to suck water back up inside. Still happy with the adapter but did have that issue that I fixed.

Hose leaks badly
The media could not be loaded. Not sure what's under the stainless steel, but it leaks. A lot. All the other parts seem fine.

Works, but beware CO2 leakage
This works well for connecting a 20lb CO2 tank to the Sodastream, but beware! The higher pressures from a big tank kinda overload the Sodastream, and all your CO2 will slowly leak out. At least, that's what I *think* happened. I used this connector, and the tank - which was full of 20lbs of CO2 - was empty in a few days. This, despite using titanium thread tape on the connectors, and replacing the gaskets on the hose. So.After you fill up the Sodastream bottles FOR GOD'S SAKE SHUT OFF THE GAS FROM YOUR BIG TANK!!!! Otherwise, you're just wasting money here.I'm open to other suggestions.

Works perfectly with Sodastream Revolution
The necessary washers were already in the appropriate locations on both ends of the hose, the remaining washers in the package were spares. No issues at all using with my Sodastream Revolution and a 5 pound CO2 tank.Make sure you turn off the CO2 tank after carbonating to minimized CO2 loss while it isn't in use. There is no regulator, meaning the Sodastream (or your carbonation system) has to handle the full pressure coming from the CO2 tank. When the tank is full that's typically in excess of 2,000 PSI. To minimize the stress on the Sodastream I follow a specific procedure:1) Turn on the tank2) Carbonate 1 or more bottles3) Shut off the tank4) Run a single fizz level 1 carbonation cycle with the tank offThe last step doesn't really do anything for carbonation, it is solely to reduce the pressure in the line. Even after that cycle the line is still pressurized, but not at the same high pressure that the tank typically outputs.

End game soda stream adapter.
I have owned nearly every iteration of soda stream hack. Here in Hawaii it is not only very expensive to get their refills, but it is also extremely inconvenient with only one authorized retailer left after covid.I started with an adapter for a standard paintball CO2 bottle, then the paintball shop stopped selling c02.I then moved over to refilling the soda stream bottles myself, which is bad on several fronts. The first being how cumbersome the process is. Secondly when your tank gets low you will no longer be able to pressurize the smaller tanks. You have to turn in partially full tanks. This solves all the issues.I now have a nearly unlimited supply of seltzer, and it is amazing.I started out turning off my tank after every use, but it has now been several months of leaving it on with no leaks so far.

Simple, straightforward, works exactly as advertised
Just the highlights. I got this to connect a DrinkMate Sparkling Water and Soda Maker, to a standard 5lbs CGA320 connector CO2 canister. Took all of 5 minutes to setup and connect and it works great. No need for any additional equipment, regulators, connectors, etc. Just the Drinkmate (or Soda Stream will work too), this connector, and the CO2 canister. Also, there's some debate about this online, I've had the CO2 canister screw valve open at all times. Some walkthroughs say you have to open it only when you use it, or only use the canister to refill the vendor canisters, or clear the line every time you use it. While it's probably a good idea to clear the lines regularly, I haven't had to do this once since I got it a week ago, haven't lost any CO2 from the canister, and haven't noticed anything in the taste etc. The Quick-release valve is itself the stop for the CO2, so you don't have to have additional equipment. The side that connects to the Drinkmate is a metal (guessing steel) screw-in connector to replace the plastic one the Drinkmate comes with, then a quick-release valve, and the brass screw-on for the CO2 canister.High-quality and worth the savings for on-demand sparkling water!
