Measuring Cups Stainless Steel 6 Piece Stackable Set

I do a lot of baking from scratch and good measuring cups are very important to me. I was tired of the letters wearing off of my “plastic” measuring cups and also wanted measuring cups that were BPA free. After extensive research I decided on this KitchenMade set and I’m glad I did! What I like about them:• The measurements are engraved on the handles, and there are raised letters on the outside of the cups which also show up on the inside of the cups.• I have tested these cups and they are accurate.• The 2/3 and3/4 cup sizes are very convenient!• The quality if exceptional. I like that the handle is part of the cup instead of being another piece.• I love the short study handles – they make the cups easier to handle.• They are heavy 18/8 stainless steel (stamped on the back of the handle)• They are stackable taking up less space in my kitchen drawer. They have holes in the handle for those who want to hang them.• They’re dishwasher safe – though I typically hand wash and hand dry all of my stainless steel to preserve the beauty of it.• Stylish design and the polished SS looks lovely!

Very nice construction; good looking product. Material is sturdy and a decent thickness for the task. Edges are smooth and free of sharp edges. Each handle is stamped in the middle and is easy to grasp. Measurements are clearly labeled. Each cup has a pouring spout stamped into the side. Each cup has a tab that extends from the front that keeps the cups level when nested together. The flat bottom is nice as the cup sits flat when at rest on the counter. I can't think of anything I don't like about these measuring cups. If you want something cheap, buy plastic measuring cups; if you want good quality, but these instead.I saw a review questioning if the material was stainless steel or not. I checked with a magnet and the material is not magnetic and is thus not simply carbon steel. It is also clearly not aluminum due to the weight; it appears to be stainless steel to me. I certainly sympathize if someone bought a stainless steel measuring cup that later corroded, but even stainless can corrode if exposed to the wrong chemical elements (especially salt water and/or sea water). I am not sure what they were scooping or in what environment, but a plastic measuring cup might be a better choice for that person.

I bought these measuring cups for my wife when I noticed that her previous ones were plastic and partially melted and misshapen from our old dishwasher or from being left too close to a burner on the stove by accident. They also didn't stack very easily or evenly, and the stamped measurements were faded and somewhat hard to read. she hates to spend money on such things, so she will keep using them forever it seems. So I looked around for something that would be better for her, more durable and yet easy to use, clean and store. I searched the internet and read a number of reviews until I came across this one: [...]I then saw the high rating on Amazon and bought the measuring cups, and my wife loves them! They are easy to use and clearly stamped. They are each made as a single piece, so there are no little seams or nooks and crannies for dried ingredients to get stuck in. They are very easy to clean, incredibly durable, and dishwasher safe, even if you have a dishwasher with a heating element in the bottom -- you can put them anywhere in your dishwasher -- and they dry easily in your dishwasher if you put them in with the bottoms up. They also stack evenly because of the little tabs on the front of each one. These are just some of the things my wife has told me she likes about them.I also think the price is outstanding for a product that is likely to last the rest of our lives, and they were ordered and shipped without incident. I couldn't recommend them any more highly. I really like these kitchenmade measuring cups. They stack compactly. They're sturdy but not heavy. They stand up on their own. I would even give these as a gift.The cups have flexibility too - they are embossed (stamped?) with additional measurements inside the cups. For instance, the 2/3 cup measure also has marks for 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup in it which you can see from the inside as well as the outside.I checked this set for consistency from one cup to another and also to that old standby, the pyrex cup. They're pretty accurate - except that my 3/4 cup runs big. I don't care about that one. Actually, I don't see myself getting much use out of the 3/4 or the 2/3 ones. But they're there if I need them, and I may make use of the additional marks they have stamped inside.My only wish ? A 1/8 cup measurement. I'm always cutting recipes in half. A 1/8 cup measurement would be great, but you won't find 1/8 anywhere on this set. Instead, the 1/4 cup has a 1/6. One SIXTH.? Whats that for? I may try to scratch or stamp a 1/8 measure in for myself. But that's my only gripe with the set - the sometimes odd sizes, like 2/3 and 3/4 but no 1/8.

Very nice looking, good quality measuring cups. It washes well and very easy to use. Moreover, for me it is the best quality I have ever used previously. All other ones I have used in the past were bad quality and the plastic ones are not good for my fingers as I have arthritis. These are sturdy and look rich and elegant. I would recommend this product to anyone. Price is right for the quality as life span is longer.

Fabrication solide.La gravure sur les manches est claire et propre, facilitant la lecture.Le bec est très apprécié pour verser les liquides sans en mettre partout !Autre point très apprécié, les mesures intermédiaires sur le côté de chaque pièce. Pour chipoter un peu, j'aurais préféré que la lecture se fasse à l'intérieur et non sur l'extérieur, mais ça reste peu gênant, et juste leur simple présence est très utile.Le fond arrondi permet un nettoyage plus facile pour les ingrédients un peu collant ou pâteux.Pour conclure, le produit répond parfaitement à mes attentes, je suis très satisfait.

Habe mir diese Becher bestelltl auf grund der Tatsache das ich gerne und viel koche. Mir war es lästig immer 5-6 Schalen oder Schüsseln suchen zu müssen, wo ich die einzelnen Zutaten die ich benötige, unterbringen kann. Zudem hat es mich genervt immer wieder eine Köchenwaage dazu zu nutzen. Diese Becher haben all das mit einem mal ersetzt. Ich bin begeistert und das Kochen macht doppelt Spaß. Vorallem steht die Arbeitsplatte nicht mehr so voll mit Schalen wo Zutaten enthalten sind.Ich würde mir diese Becher wieder bestellen.

Ces tasses à mesurer sont parfaites. En inox elles sont simples à nettoyer (pas de recoins difficiles à laver!). Les gravures sur le manche et à l'intérieur de la tasse permettent de trouver rapidement celle dont on a besoin et elles prennent très peude place dans un tiroir de la cuisine une fois empilées.

Mir gefallen diese Messbecher sehr. Wir haben sie angeschafft, weil ich mit den Kindern Kuchen nach Becherrezepten backen wollte. Das Backbuch, durch welches ich auf die Idee gekommen bin, hat aber nur Plastikbecher beiliegen. Es gibt im englischen Sprachraum fast ausschließlich Rezepte mit cups. Also warum nicht nutzen?Die Becher sind klein ineinanderzustapeln, sind sehr leicht in der Spülmaschine zu reinigen und die Kinder können sie gut greifen. Voller Erfolg!
