We love it
There are a lot of negative reviews on this product. Don’t listen. A lot of people said the taste was bad. I personally like the taste. I totally agree with the other comments that it’s even tastier when added with oat milk. Kind of like a chai tea. My fiancé and I think it’s a wonderful way to end the night and every time we’ve had it before bed we both sleep amazing. That being said, does it taste anything like alcohol no. I don’t think it’s intended to taste like alcohol. It’s supposed to have the same calming effects. And it does! Remember to keep it refrigerated!

Not worth it
I bought both Dream Light and High Rhode. Neither came in the neat box I saw in reviews; just a loose bottle in brown cardboard and bubble wrap.Dream Light tastes horrible. I tried it straight at first and almost threw up. If you’re buying this, buy some oat milk to mask the flavor. I tried regular milk, but it seemed to curdle and get chunky when mixed. High Rhode is fine straight up, but Dream Light… holy hell what a disgusting drink. It’s very bitter, tastes like vommit with cinnamon. Somehow, mixing with oat milk saves it. It becomes like a creamy spiced tea. But you HAVE to mix it with something.High Rhode tastes fine on its own, but even nicer mixed with fruit flavors, sparkling water, or even just flat water. I’ve been mixing it with some berry flavor Mio Sport and tap water, and it’s really nice. Fruit is the way to go with this one.As far as claims of the effect it will have, I noticed nothing with Dream Light. Didn’t really help me sleep, nor feel calm while awake. It’s kind of a nice drink with oat milk—again, like a spiced tea—but doesn’t *do* anything. Certainly not worth the price. With High Rhode, I do notice a slight difference, but nothing crazy. An ibuprofen will give you more of a high than Kin will. Still, at least this one does *something.*Overall, not worth the money, and doesn’t really do anything. I’ve had my fun, but would not recommend to anyone looking for a good feeling, nor a good drink; this provides neither.

Real Review of Products (bought both)
I’m going to talk first about the product itself. The taste and effect as which I think is most important when buying. I saw a lot about the packaging and that unfortunately happens during shipping. And not the producers fault.Effects & Taste:I think these mimic in a light way, dark liquor. I’ve included the back which gives a suggestion how to consume. Kin website gives more recipes. I used to drink but due to my condition, being without alcohol will help me recover faster. I’m no addict but do enjoy a nice beverage at times. And I would consider myself a picky enjoyer of fine mixed drinks. This did it for me. Day time drink (High Rhode), and evening (Dream Light). High Rhode gives a lovely boost of positive mood. And a small kick of energy. I mix H.R. with a sparkling flavored soda (bout 4-6oz). I’m sure a juice would be fine. Very refreshing. Dream Light; it really relaxes me and I get a really good nights rest. I feel so relaxed that I sleep on time. I have trouble sleeping due to anxiety and other things. So I love this one in particular. A true night cap. You could drink this on it’s own like a shot I suppose. Not the best taste in its own (it’s made to be mixed), but I don’t know what “liquor” does haha. I love them both. I’d say I feel the effects maybe between 15-30mins. Depending on how much you ate.Packaging:As you can see, it was packed with care, and arrived safe. I’ve gotten plastic bottles that burst open due to lack of care from drivers. So please keep that in mind. It’s not Kins fault. I find it strange when people get upset at the producer when it’s the shipping responsibility (90% of the time). Makes it hard to gauge the real product.Only Con:It is somewhat pricey. You get 11-14 servings from a bottle. Making it about $2.30ish a glass. Not bad. High Rhode does say you need to consume within 14 days. But that’s fine. Not a deal breaker. Just means the ingredients lose its effects as time goes on so I understand completely. I don’t want to ingest bad preservatives just to make the product last longer.Overall:I’ll definitely buy again. Hoping the price can be in the mid or low $20’s eventually to buy habitually. Mid or high teens would be amazing. Otherwise, $65ish every 3ish weeks is a lot.
