I got this as a spare and it has now become my primary fan. It works better than my old 2 fan cooling unit. It runs very quietly, does pretty well for my gaming unless I'm playing for an extended period (I have a really nice graphics card but it tends to run rather hot). For the price, this is really good and I would recommend it. Just a helpful hint, I took some adhesive backed foam insulation strips (like what come with portable AC units) and cut it into four 1 inch x 1 inch squares, and stacked them 2 squares thick on each of the back corners of the unit to elevate the laptop slightly, and voila! Even better airflow and cooling! My only complaints are that the lights cannot be shut off (minor annoyance and by no means a deal breaker) and it is not very comfortable when using directly on my lap (I just use a lap desk with it and no problem). If you're looking for a good economy cooling pad, this is the best I've had so far. I've only had it a short while so if any issues pop up, I will be sure to update!

Although it is a bit more bulky than I anticipated since I have had it under my laptop the computer does not crash anymore from getting overheated....that alone is worth the money. Fans are really not that noisy and it worked right out of the box.

The product is working out great for me. It holds the laptop off the table AND provides air movement to keep the 17" gaming laptop much happier. It also holds the laptop at a better (higher) viewing angle allowing me to do a cast to remote screen to pull up instructions while I work on the other machine (desktop) or display thermals and performance stats while gaming. It have been effective and useful. I will buy this model again.The flip out tabs at the bottom feel a bit flimsy at higher slant angles. My particular laptop can not use the highest tilt as the bottom of the laptop is slanted and it will 'jump the fence'. The tabs could be longer, but then you'd run into stresses and breakage.

Nice and quiet. Cools my Dell Inspiron down quick when gaming or using other demanding software.

I have tried a few cooler pads for my PC with a result of my PC staying a bit warm. This chilling pad keeps my PC very cool. I recommend it.

Do NOT buy this piece of JUNK! Thing is noisy and vibrates annoyingly crazy..Which starts up 5 day after you can't return it...! I have had many of other brands and used them a long time, but and this one is by far the worst and a total waste of money....It began vibrating noisy bad, super annoying about 7 days ago...At first is wasn't to bad and only continued to worsen.....Now I go to return it and see the return window closed on June 5th.....Completely disappointed!

I purchased this because of the good reviews, but after four months it started giving me trouble and stopped working about three weeks later.

The cooling fan has a wheel instead of the push button as advertised.
