Wireless Doorbell Loomin Waterproof Portable Blue Led Indicator Doorbell with Remote Button

Appears to be well made. Good instructions for loading battery in doorbell unit that goes outside. Can mount two ways: 1) use screws (provided) or 2) use pull and stick adhesive tape to attach outside. (Even includes a circular sticker to place on the doorbell itself that says to press/ring here and a finger icon...for those who can't tell it's a doorbell I guess.) Also has good, detailed instructions for setting up the inside unit. The inside unit plus directly into an outlet plug. Says it can also work on batteries, but I chose to put it in an outlet in the back of the apartment. Has 52 "chimes/songs" to choose from as your doorbell audio signal. When the doorbell is used the inside unit chimes, plus it also lights up with four blue lights (great for deaf or hard-of-hearing). Just installed this morning and so far it is working great. Recommend this product.

Purchased this bell two months ago. Nice selection of chimes. Sometimes signal from remote works sometimes it doesn't even though the distance is well within range. Not easy to install on wall since battery compartment is on the base thats screwed to wall. It makes it difficult to drill in between that area. Priced right but not great on performance and installation.

Rings about 90% of the time. For the price, not terrible. I wish it was more dependable.

Summary: Good electronic doorbell with 52 song options, OK sound quality, and mediocre documentation...One cool thing on the doorbell is that the button uses a capacitive switch - however the feedback to the user is a blue light inside the button, so if you have a location in bright sunlight, the person at the door may not realize that they are pushing the button repeatedly.52 songs - kind of a pain to scroll through, even a bigger pain to set it - I spent perhaps 15 minutes trying to figure out how to change the song. Volume is easy. To change the song, press the song select button until it's playing your selected song, then press the song and volume button simultaneously, then press the doorbell button once. Changing the song once the doorbell is installed will require a little bit of walking back-and forth.The sound quality is a bit "Grainy" but on the plus side, there's a good range of volume options. The loud is VERY loud while the soft is a good for alerting anyone who is paying attention, but not waking the whole house. This is for my mother's house so we selected a longer song and a high volume for my mother's condo - that way she can always know for sure when someone is at the door.I do like that this plugs in to an outlet. While it takes up a plug, it means you don't have to worry about batteries. We selected an outlet in the back of the living room a good 30+ feet from the button, and it still worked well.Sample provided for evaluation,

This is an excellent wireless doorbell. It comes with the battery needed for the transmitter, which speaks well of the company, has a huge selection of tones/tunes, and 4 volume settings.Setting it up is well explained in the user manual and is easy to do. Going through the 52 "musics" is like going to a concert. Why settle for a standard ringer when you can have "Jingle Bells", "She'll Be Coming Around The Mountain", and others of a like vein? With 52 possibilities, it takes a little time to hear them all, is hard to decide your preference, then you still have to go through them again until you find your choice.To save time, I finally decided to take the next one I liked and be done with it.The range on this doorbell is amazing; the user manual says 280-300 meters, which is about the length of 3 football fields. I didn't test that, but I did take the transmitter outside the front door of my apartment after plugging the receiver into an outlet in my bedroom, which is considerable distance from the the front door and there are sections of cement block walls in between. This tells me that you can use this kit in many different ways, not just as a doorbell.. You could have the transmitter upstairs and the receiver downstairs if, for example, there was someone upstairs who needed a way to let you know when attention was needed.The received must be located where it can plugged into an electric outlet. The transmitter can be anywhere, from fastened to the wall outside your front door to serve as your door bell, or it can attached to something in another location or even lying loose on a bedside table. Both screw and double face tape are included in the kit as means of attachment.To work your way through the "musics", you press a button on the side of the receiver. Each press gives you a new one. To set the volume, press another button on the side of the receiver to determine which of the 4 options is best for the location where it will be located.Sample provided for testing and review, but that is not why I am giving it 5 stars.
