The locking slid catches a lot, otherwise it’s good

The stripper was about what I expected, but it took half an hour and a vice grip and a hammer to loosen the adjustment screw and bolt. What were the manufacturers thinking? Don't they have lock washers in China? Sheesh! Having said that it strips wires OK.

Works well as a wire stripper, but the tolerance is too low to cut very thin gauge wire. As a reference, it cuts 18 gauge very well but will not cut 22 gauge. The gap between the blades lets very thin gauge slide through so it doesn't make a cut. Aside from that, they work well and since the design is so simple I expect they'll last a very long time. Worth buying, just make sure it fits your use.

Klein has been around a long time, great product, great company. However as far as the wire cutter’s go, very easy to cut the wire your trying to strip. So if you don’t know what your doing, you may wanna practice on some scrap wire first.

I have all the different wire strippers and use these so much they wear out on me.Might not be right if you don't plan on adjusting it properly or don't have a good feel for how much pressure to use. I never adjust it, do it by feel, it's fast and I don't have to worry about selecting slots.

Need tool to adjust, tiny screwdriver. A wing nut or thumb screw would be preferred.-David 201

I use these everyday for everything from stripping wire to cutting zip ties. They are fantastic and have held up sharp as a razor for months. I personally don’t like the small stopper with springs and this is the best of the 5 I’ve owned through the years.

I wish I would have gotten the ones with the spring (didn’t know that was an option), but this is a great multi use tool. It’s cutters and strippers that are a great quality.

I had a cheap crappy stripper one to do the job. It went into the garbage. So when I needed a couple of things from the Amazon. I bought a pair. This is a good name brand and they have been around for eons.

Klein you let me down. Yes I should have got the ones with spring but buying a tools from Klein I was confident these work "WRONG" save your money.

Light. Sharp. Good for light duty use.

Pretty good strippers. The rivet is a tad weak for a Klein product in my opinion.
