Bought this for DIY engine work; Normally I’d want to buy mitutoyo but the equivalent is really expensive (4x) and most vendors probably don’t make it easy to buy as a Joe Schmoe. So I bought this one (because USA made) and took it to measure on my mitutoyo vision CMM before deciding if it was good enough. Measures 0.0004” for straightness using multiple methods. Granted I couldn’t measure the whole length of it at once so in reality is probably a liiiittle higher but not much. I’m keeping this one.
