Really soft to the touch and doesn't feel 'cheap' so to say. Had a lot of issues putting it on but that was because of the switch itself, not the case, which is why I've given it such a high rating. There were a lot of screws in my switch that I wasn't able to remove because they were stuck and drilling them out would be too dangerous (on the circuit board itself etc) so I was only able to change half the case, but now it looks like a drumstick lollipop so it's okay. I'm quite fond of the effect. All in all, the shell is lovely. It comes with tools (be careful, try and find a spare screwdriver if you can in case one of the supplied screwdrivers breaks) and lots of spare screws.
