Camp Chef Professional Grease Cup, Fits 5 Griddle Models

You have no idea how many times I stood in front of my griddle on a windy day, cursing, as I watched grease fall everywhere but straight down into the can. We all know the can hanger thingy is a bad design, hanging too far below the hole, not allowing for larger diameter cans and, of course, breaking way too easily. Oh yeah, you also have to remember to bring a can. No more! I saw this grease cup and all I can say is, "Why didn't anyone tell me about this?" It's large, easy to clean, and works exactly the way I expect a grease catcher to work. The width catches all the grease that drips to the left or right of the hole and there is no worry about it overflowing. I especially like that it sits up close to the griddle so wind is not a factor. One of the criticisms I saw was that the grease cup blocks the knobs on the grill. I have a 2 burner stove. If the griddle is on the left burner there is no problem. If you like to use the griddle on the right burner the cup does block the top half of the right control knob. However, it's not difficult to reach below the cup and adjust the knob. The cup does get hot, though. This a great product and I wish that it was included with the griddle. It would have saved a lot of frustration along the way.

I was not expecting this Grease Cup to be as robust and well-built as it actually is. Heavy-duty and easy to clean with a bit of dish soap, it hangs on the Camp Chef outdoor stoves like a glove! We use it with both Camp Chef griddle sizes we have to use with our Pro 90X three-burner, and it keeps the grease from going anywhere except in the cup. Once we've cleaned and dried it, we wipe a very thin coating of cooking oil over the whole cup, inside and out, to prevent rust. This is clearly a Camp Chef winner, and I easily give it Five Stars, along with an honest and very hearty recommendation! My husband recently bought a campchef stove and griddle top so we can cook outdoors when camping, etc but the little oil catcher it came with sucks so we searched on amazon and found this and it is PERFECT! Works so well and is big enough for the entire cooking session even though he has cooked for 10+ people on it. For me the best part is that it's dishwasher safe! So after we dump and wipe it off a bit, we just stick it in the dishwasher and it's ready to go again. There was a little bit of worry that it would rust since we run our washer on steam and dry cycles but it's held up just fine with no rust yet! (that could be a matter of time though)

When we go camping, my husband loves to cook huge meals for everyone. However, he's always had to juggle cooking and constantly cleanin up or avoiding the splatter from grease dripping from the hot plates. He was thrilled when he found these grease cups. They are extremely well built and heavy duty. Clean up overall was so much more simple and cut a bit of time out of the grill cleaning process. He loved that he could collect our bacon grease in one to use later in a pancake recipe (sounds gross but yum!). He couldn't stop saying how much he loved these grease cups. I bought two of these for my Camp Chef two burner stove, ended up giving one away. It worked fine, but by design it ends up blocking access to the gas knobs. And as I am one who tends to burn things, I need to be able to reach those. So I gave the second to a cousin who has the same stove and all is well. Not a big loss, one skillet is usually dedicated to vegetarian / vegan food anyways.. while the delicious meats (bacon) are on the other stove. If you're using one of these stoves with a skillet, stop wasting time with the cup and hanger contraption. Its a skin burn waiting to happen.

The standard wire ring on the Camp Chef Pro Griddles is not only problematic to adjust, they break easily. The standard grease wire ring is a poor add-on to a great product. The grease drips along the bottom of the griddle V grease trap and misses the jar when using the wire ring. This Grease cup is perfectly sized to eliminate grease drippings that would have missed the miss the jar set up. Mounting this cup is simple and secure, the mounting also allow the grease cup to move or slide in so that you can slip on the patio cover. This add-on is expensive and hard to find locally but once you use it you will see the value. Cleaning the grease cup is simple even without removing it from the stove / griddle.

I have no idea why Amazon wants me to rate the "Sheerness" of a steel drip pan, but whatever. This is it, fellas. This is the end-all best grease catch for your camp chef! I absolutely hate those cheesy hangers that come with the griddles, they suck. This is high quality, and you don't have to worry about finding a cup or can that won't melt to catch half of your bacon grease, while letting the other half drip down your leg as you stand next to your camp chef. Do yourself a favor, and buy this guy, it'll solve all your greasy, delicious problems while cooking in the wild.

We were early adopters to the Camp Chef flat top and the grease catch was the real weak point. This is the perfect fix! Sturdy, easy to use, easy to clean (foil liners are ideal) and solved the biggest draw back with the Camp Chef flat top. Makes it a pleasure to use--highly recommended for anyone wishing the grease trap of the original actually functioned 🤣

I bought this grease cup after the one that I got with my Camp Chef (Tin can hanger) broke coming out of the plastic package. This grease cup is the way to go. It holds a fair amount of grease and is sturdy. No one wants hot grease burning your feet! It is very easy to clean out and looks great. Buy it - you won't be disappointed.

Very pleased with this grease catcher. It is an considerable upgrade from what I had before. It fits firmly onto the stove with no danger of bumping it and spilling it. Cleans easily.
