It's pretty awesome
I got this to keep an eye on my cat who has cancer. I work from home a lot, so my cats are used to the company and they get anxious when I have long days away from them. It makes me feel more at ease to know that I can check in on them, see if anyone is acting funny, yell at them to get off the counter, and baby talk to them through the microphone. The camera is pretty easy to set up. The instructions aren't very detailed, but it's a basic wifi set up, with which most smartphone users are probably familiar. My boyfriend wanted to have access, so I clicked "add user" and he got an email to link his account to mine. It doesn't run on 5G wifi, but luckily we have a 2.4 network setting, as well. The camera quality is very good. The picture is sharp, the lag time is minimal, and I love the zoom function. I wish that the pan feature was less broad. When you pan the camera through the app, it doesn't sweep fluidly, but rather sweeps to the next pre-set angle. The night vision is great, and the laser function is fun. It only goes for about 15-20 seconds, but with one tap of the finger the laser will start up again. But if you're away from home, attempting to play laser with your cat, how long does one really need it to go?The audio function is cool. It does not support microphone and speaker simultaneously, so if you speak to your pet and they speak back, you'll have to be quick to switch to speaker if you want to hear their reply. Luckily, there is a slight lag on the audio, so when I've tested it, I usually hear the end of my statement back in the speaker.I think the quality is great for an $80 wifi pet cam with so many features. It is a little creepy knowing there's a camera in my house, and at night when I'm hanging out in the living room I do hear clicks coming from the camera. I can't help but imagine I'm being spied on through the camera, but in the end it wouldn't matter because all the spies would see is me cooing at my cats, so... not very scandalous.

Overall this is a great petcam and our cats looooove the laser
Overall this is a great petcam and our cats looooove the laser! There are a few enhancements I would make (which I have suggested to iFamCare) in regards to how long the laser stays on (not long enough) and that it records whenever you turn the laser on (not necessary). But overall the setup was easy, night vision works great, connecting to WiFi worked like a champ, and the adjustable panning is great to have! I looked around and researched a lot of other options, and for the price, this can't be beat!!! (NOTE: Your pet may become addicted to the laser and may be found staring at the petcam, anxiously awaiting for it to be turned back on)

Easy set up and access!
This was a surprisingly awesome purchase! Nothing to assemble. One single cord for power (and it is is micro-USB just like cell phone cords). Plug it in. Download the free app for Android (they speak Apple too). Use your phone to introduce the camera to the house WiFi - and you're done.We used the cam to watch, listen and speak to our kitty from the other side of the country while traveling. Bandwidth is humble and worked from 3G/4G connections on the road. The camera is quiet - makes just a whisper sound when you move it remotely. Night vision is effective. Good audio pickup. We are considering another for our elderly parents home.

Love It So Far!!!....
I bought this months ago. It didn’t sync at first, nothing I tried worked and I didn’t want to call for support so I just sat on it. I’m not sure why but switching to a slightly newer, more powerful WiFi router that I already had made it work. Then it was game on!! It’s only been live for three days, but I love it! I will absolutely update if anything changes or ceases to function properly. I have an elderly pet at home with medical conditions that are controlled but could turn at any moment. I just wanted to be able to check in on him while I’m at work. So far, this is giving me the ability to not only do that, but so much more! The laser options are super dragging, so slow and clumsy but usable!!! I was able to play with him, get him up and engaged while at work. That is so cool!!! The camera seems to have an annoyingly limited range, when swiping it remotely but it’s highly responsive and I’ve been able to easily reset it physically to the camera angles I need. Audio is great! What I don’t love is having to close out of app settings when leaving the app for other functions. I heard my cat meowing while googling something completely unrelated, which makes me kinda glad I didn’t have the microphone activated on my end! But maybe this is common with this type of thing? I don’t know, still getting a feel for it. Absolutely glad I bought it so far!!! Will report if that assessment changes...
