Just curious, how old is a child that is size 6? **Q: My Grandaughter wears a child's size 9? Is the size 10 going to be way to big? Do you have a size smaller than a 10?** A: Well my granddaughter wear a size 10 and we found the shoe fits kind of snug. She will grow out of it before Christmas. So I plan to buy a size 11. My suggestion is buy the 10 then just put on heavy socks for a while that way she will get plenty of use out of them. My 4 year old just loves her. **Q: I need these for my granddaughter....her foot measures 8"....would I need a size 1 or 2?** A: I would get her whatever her shoe size is. For example, my daughter wears either a size 11 or 12. I got her a size 12 to give her a little room and I thought if they were a little big she could just wear heavy socks. They fit her perfectly. Definitely would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Dorothy shoes! *by A***S on October 31, 2016* These shoes were the perfect addition to my daughter's Halloween Dorothy costume! I had read in the reviews that they run small, and my daughter wears a 9 or 10 depending on the brand so I went with an 11 and they fit great. Not too small, but big enough for her to have some room to grow. I had also read about glitter flaking off, so before she wore them, I sprayed a few coats of a clear gloss spray on them and that has seemed to do the trick. The glitter hasn't flaked off at all and she has worn them multiple times. The ends of the strap were slightly frayed when they arrived (which was another complaint I also read about), so I gently ran a match along the ends and that stopped the fraying and you can't even tell that they were fraying in the first place. I looked all over trying to find the perfect Dorothy shoes for my daughter and I am so happy with these! They are so cute and I love that they have a strap.
