This debut album is really the second record by Detroit songwriter Greg Host and ex-wife Melissa.The record, produced and mixed by Oakland, CA engineer Eli Crews (Tune-Yards, Mirah) was recorded in Detroit in 2013. An eclectic mix of indie pop/rock, folk, psych and alt-country with a 60s garage feel.Clever songwriting and thoughtful lyrics are their trademarks.The cut "Sunshine" is co-written by former band mate Brandt Peterson, who was the original bassist in Elliott Smith's nascent band, Heatmiser.
