There is also a information menu in this that gives you common causes to some engine codes. the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I can't seem to get the update tool to download. There is a card enclosed with a web location to it, but on that page, clicking on the link to the update tool, takes you to a 404 error. If there was no mention of updates or the card with a link to where it may be, I probably would have given this 5 stars as everything seems to work as expected. My only concerns come from my perception I may be missing out on something in updates. The problem normally shows up after the truck sits for a week or more. They were leaving the factory new like this. Not sure if there ever was a exact diagnosis to the problem. Usually after idling and warmup for a few minutes and placing the gear selector in and out of reverse it will work, may clunk and jerk. If you research that year you might find some explanations. Other than that if it hasn't sat for a period of time you may look for the transmission code. It's a pressure issue and solenoid. May not read all models, Get the UPDATE *by B***Y on October 22, 2025* PAID for itself the first use, the wheel speed sensor function will tell you which one to replace to get the Antilock and steering assist back.
