The little guy works hard and actually acts like a small woofer. I mean what do you expect from such a small unit.....it isn't a set of Advent speakers from the 70's but it upgrades my Kindle (wimp speakers) while listening to Pandora big time. Oh, by the way directions are written in Oriental...that means I thought mine was defective out of the box, didn't work. I had it all charged up and everything. No visible switches on the unit. The back was a little squishy but I thought that was for speaker travel. Had to go on line and read the questions boxes and found out THAT is the on off switch. Push in the BACK and a little blue light comes on letting you know that your speaker is ready to go, just plug it in your jack opening. I think the price was right on, probably not worth 25. or thirty but certainly the 18. Also stays charged for a decent amount of time with the internal battery.

Great little speaker - fyi wrong color shipped so just check.
Louder than expected. Like how no external power or any charger required. Have a basic iPhone case and it fits fine without needing to remove. I would order again (just did actually for another gift) but FYI I ordered white and received the black. Note - if you care a lot about the color then check before opening and even though I specifically did order white (and checked again) it was the wrong one. Still a good speaker and I would recommend.

Works great with small synthesizers and hobby computers!!!
Works exactly for what I needed it for! It gives a more rich sounding speaker for my KORG Monotrons. It also fits with a 1/4th adapter attachment to add sound to my Bass Station 2. Also great for the Pocket Chip handheld Linux computer! Will try it on Gameboy Micro also.
