The mat does an adequate job of stopping litter tracking around the house. The pros: The size is perfect for my small 6lb cat & her litter box. My cat had no issues adjusting to stepping on or off the mat. The cons: Did not stop all of the litter from tracking. A bit tedious for me to clean all the way. Had to introduce a 2nd product (top entrance litterbox) to fully eliminate tracking.
