Tide Free & Gentle Liquid Laundry Detergent, Unscented, 1.47 L (32 Loads)

If you are bothered by scents, this is great to use because it has no scent. The only problem is that your clothes will be clean when taken out of the washing machine, but will still smell dirty. You will need to buy an Odor Blaster to use with the liquid detergent.

I needed a liquid cleaner that was unscented and worked well. I don't like scents because I can't really tell if my clothes are getting clean or just masked by scent. This one works and does not leave residual body odor. So far so good.

The classic scent started having an awful chemical smell. It's sort of like the other NEW!!! fragrances they've added in recent years. Something tells me that in order to make the stuff cheaper they've resorted to adding cheaper ingredients (probably forced by Walmart) despite turning their product into a nasty pile of stinky sludge. Well this one simply has no smell. I think that's what we've wanted all along. Why would we want our laundry to smell like anything but clean laundry I'll never understand. My other theory is that they made the original scent unbearable because no one was buying this one. Perhaps they can sell it at a higher price point.

This was a nice experience with Tide. It probably would not stain clothes if it got directly on colors, but I don't have much in the way of "delicates" these days....I'm basically cottons or poly wash-and-wear. If I had a baby (good grief at my age), it would be another story. The regular Tide is super strong and needs to be used cautiously with colors...you don't want to put the liquid directly on your clothes...but this gentle stuff doesn't seem to be a problem.

I have found that I cannot use soaps with a strong fragrance. This meets all of my requirements. It cleans my clothes good as well.

It cleans things quite well, and is true to its name with lack of dyes or fragrance. However, it is likely to leak in shipping. The first time it happened it wasn't so bad. The second time was pretty messy, and the detergent was shipped in the same box as a $400 computer hard drive (!). I'm lucky that seems to have survived. I'm going to buy detergent from the grocery store again from now own.

Tide Free and Gentle is perfect for people whose allergies are triggered by dyes and/or perfumes. But that's not the only reason to use this product. It also happens to do an excellent job of cleaning laundry. I noticed a marked difference from the detergent I was using before. When I pulled a load of whites from the washer the first time I used it, I was very pleasantly surprised by how bright and white everything was. Highly recommended.

For weeks, my son had a terrible, bumpy rash on his back. We tried bathing him less. We tried bathing him more. We tried stopping certain foods. We tried moisturizing more. We tried moisturizing less. We tried not moisturizing at all. Nothing seemed to help. Then, we replaced our detergent with this detergent, and his rash got better. Now, his skin is back to being soft and smooth. Yay.
