s'okay
It's okay. It's pretty quiet for the first 40-60 days and then you need to clean out the dust from the inside. It's much quieter than my previous CoolerMaster SF-19, but I don't think it does as good of a job, to be completely honest. I appreciate the easy-to-clean form factor, but my laptop is an unruly beast and needs more support than this bladeless model can offer at this particular power level. My machine is an MSI GT780 from Nov. 2011 with 24GB of DDR3

Could be better, but a good value
I love the sleek look of this product. I'd give it an A for style. The cooling function is average. I have a $5 cooler that cools just as well. The bladeless design of this NZXT cooler allows you to actually sit your laptop on your lap, which is nice. The power supply cord has a USB connector on both ends.I'd prefer that the power cord be hardwired in, but this is ok. One end plugs into the USB port on your laptop, and the other plugs into one of three USB charging ports on the cooler. You cannot interface with your laptop through these ports. They are for charging only! Some people have an issue with the noise level of this cooler. Yes, it is louder than some coolers, but I don't have a problem with it. I'm satisfied with the performance versus price. I think it's a good value.

neat product
i like the new cooler for my laptop impressed since its only plastic but it doesnt get hot and it keeps it from slipping around laptop stays put its light since its plastic would of liked to seen a metal one or bigger fans it doesnt push excess air out like i thought it would like a dyson bladeless fan but works good still easy to hook up just plug in both ends hit the button and turn the dial towards you and boom in your good to go i love that its quiet why i gave 4 stars if it had better air movement so my keypad area didnt get hot i would of gave it five and would have did even more if it was metal too

Powerful and light.
I was concerned when I opened the box and discovered that the case is plastic. The fact that this is not truly a bladeless device is clearly indicated on the instructions INSIDE the box, but you're not intended to ever interact with them, so that's probably a nitpick.PROS: The angle of the cooling pad is not too much. The construction is light, but relatively sturdy. I'd probably feel a little more secure with it if it were metal, but it's still pretty good. The fan is adjustable and really quiet on the lowest setting. The big pro: the airflow on this thing is fantastic. My laptop went from 78 degrees celsius to 52 degrees celcius in about 20 seconds. Let me repeat that: it cooled my laptop by 26 degrees celsius in 20 seconds. Considering that it normally takes this very same laptop 2-5 minutes to drop just 20 degrees under the same conditions without the pad, I'd say it's pretty darn good!CONS: It's a nitpick, but I really prefer metal cases because they can act as heatsinks if they're not powered up. The only real con is the noise of the blowers powering the airflow. Cranked up, they make a bit of noise. You wouldn't be using the fan in a room where people are trying to sleep. But considering that I'm considering getting another one for the other laptop in the house, it's really not *that much* of a con.I'd recommend to most people,

Not as cool as it seems.
Not like a Dysen (sp?) fan. This uses two small blower fans to simulate a "bladeless" fan. That big hole in the middle makes it tough to use with smaller devices (ie, modems for wireless APs) than a laptop.

Nice!
Light, efficient, not too loud either. When it is cranked up to full power, it kinda sounds like a mini propeller engine,( Quiet though, people in other rooms cannot hear it, even in other rooms!) its airflow is great, laptops don't slide off because of a lip on the board, and it comfortably tilts your laptop up a bit.It fits my 15 in. laptop perfectly with about half of a thumb's length on either side. However, it also can fit a 12 in. ultra book on it easily, and USB powered fan system makes it perfect for travel.PS. the air flows UP towards the bottom of my Alienware's fan, and draws in cool air. I know some people are going to ask why i got an cooler if i have such a powerful fan, BUT this cooler actually makes my integrated fan slow down and not be cranking at full power when running TF2 with everything on High/extreme. :)Overall, I thought this might be a gamble since there were no reviews, but it turns out I gambled right, because this bladeless fan system is AWESOME!

Works and looks Great
Works well. Keeps the laptop much cooler. My wife likes to put it on her lap on the couch (usually with a blanket on). The laptop was getting pretty hot so we decided this might be an option. Have gotten NZXT products before and have been very happy. The only complaint I have is one fan is a little load (kind of sounds like a bearing), but hasn't stopped working yet so we will keep our fingers crossed! Had about 3 months now use about 1+ hrs a day.

Bought has a gift for my brother.
It looks awesome, he loves it. However I'm not sure it cools as efficiently as the cooler master pad I have for my laptop that has a wire mesh to draw heat as well as a fan. My brother needed still needed a extra fan and big heat sink to cool off his IBM when he was playing intense online games on his ThinkPad T410. I sure that's more fault of Lenovo than the cooler though.
