Surprisingly good construction, solid build
I've been a composer since I was 11 years old, and my primary instrument has been piano/keyboards. After reading up on the Rocksmith 2014 guitar training software, I decided it was time to learn how to play guitar. This one got good reviews and wasn't expensive (the Strat can wait until I'm a rock star). It came in good packaging. In fact, I think there was a bit too much plastic shrink-wrap on the pick guard (white area under the strings). It took me a long time to peel away two layers of thin sticky plastic, some of which is still under the knobs (couldn't get to it). The pickups also had its own plastic coverings that took a while to peel off. I must say, after peeling everything away, the pick guard was without a scratch (some of the plastic made it look like it might have gotten nickedโฆbut it was just the plastic. The guitar is solid, the neck is smooth, and the entire guitar seems well built. Remember, this is my first electric guitar. I'm going to hook it up to Rocksmith 2014 and will review that product in amazon.com soon. But my first impressions of this guitar are really good. I won't give it 5 stars because this is not a Epiphone or some other top-brand guitar. But I'm amazed at its good construction. I got the blue one and under good light it really looks great.

OK BUT NEEDS SOME WORK
For the money these are nice guitars. The pickups sound pretty good, no need to change right away. The tuners are also pretty good, stay in tune, feel solid. The necks are nice wood and feel great to play. The main problem with these, and I have 4 of them is: the frets need leveling and the fret ends are really sharp, way more than fret spout. So if you don't know how to fix these issue's you will be disappointed. But after the frets are dealt with it is a very nice playing guitar, the neck has a great shape and feel to it. The nut is not the best and might need attention also, but in this price range that is the norm.

Amazing Finish
Fit and finish is amazing for the price - beautiful metallic blue finish....needs a few adjustments but overall it is playable out of the box.....I've been playing guitar for over 30 yrs and own several other guitars. Wanted a "strat" style guitar - was going to purchase fender squier - this is as good or better for half the price

Good Value!
Good quality for the money. I bought this to use as a second guitar and it serves the purpose well. It stays in tune and has a very good tone. I like it better than the Fender Squier that I also considered. Since it is easy to play, I would definitely recommend for a beginner. I would also recommend changing the strings to a better quality set.

Poor quality
The guitar was defective. The amplifier cord was loose. The sound faded in and out. The appearance was good but the quality was poor.

My blue legacy
This is my second legacy guitar out of 12 others . This blue one , out of the box pretty we'll set up ,even the nut .i needed to set intonation at bridge ,did not have to file frets .this is my go to guitar . I'm not doing any mods because it plays and sound good with brand name strings. The neck feels very good

Awesome
Great guitar at this price point. I would recommend replacing the strings it comes with. Guitar stays in tune just fine and the pickups sound great. Don't hesitate at the low price point, def a great guitar for both beginners and advanced players.
