I received this luggage scale from ProPace on time and it was packaged very nicely. ProPace even included a battery so I didn't have to go out and purchase one. This is an excellent quality scale and I'm sure it will be useful for many years to come. ProPace states in their Amazon description that the scale will pay for itself in one use in over weight baggage fees. They're right. I've noticed that airlines are getting stricter with the weights. If I'm at 50.1 lbs they try to assess the fee. So there I am holding up the line while I'm trying to stuff things in my purse to get my luggage weight down. Embarrassing. To try to stay under weight I would weigh my bag on my digital scale at home while carefully balancing the bag on top. Then I'd have to hurry and look at the weight after removing the bag before the readout went blank. Not a good process. Now I can hook this scale around the luggage strap and lift it up and get an accurate weight. Ha! No more stupid fees for me. I like the design of this as it is easy to hold on to with one or both hands. It's light weight so you can pack it on your trip to make sure you aren't bringing back too many souvenirs. Or clothes. I'm just very happy with this scale and I'm grateful that I was able to order this at a reduced price for my true and honest opinion - which is what I have done with in this review. I'd recommend this to anybody needing a luggage scale.
