Fits good after 1 hour of modification
Finally got to install this and found out the reviews were pretty accurate. No institutions were in box. After turning angle iron that came every way I finally found that the flange points down aginst the trailer frame and the nut welded on the inside isn't flat aginst the metal holding it but with a little wiggeling could get it to start. Also recommend a grade 8 lock washer be used so it doesn't loosten up. ( not included ) also bolt pattern dosen't match anything known to man but sense I have a milling machine not a problem. I like the way it turned out but with all the modification needed it's WAY over priced.

Well my concern was that the welds weren't going to be good since some other reviews mentioned that. Actually mine looked like it was welded pretty nice. The reason why I gave it 3 stars was that I think this item is priced high and didn't included mounting hardware for the tire. Come on guys! If I'm roughly spending $75 plus shipping throw in some mounting bolts for the tire.

Very pleased.
It's every thing I thought it would be. My spare tire wheel had a little different hole pattern, and I had to drill another hole in the plate to accept my wheel. It mounts easier then I thought it would, other then a fairly tight fit in the stake pocket, it's great. Truly the answer to my spare tire mount problem for my flat bed.

unbelievable crap !, see photos
Worst item I ever bought off Amazon.1, missing welds and horrible welds2, rusted, with rust bubbling up thru the paint.3, paint beat to hell4, mud down in the corners5, bent, rusted, welded off center hold down bolt.6, hold down bracket drilled 1/2 inch off center.7, wobbled out stud holes that are rusted with heavy burs.8, welded so crooked but I'm probably going to have to cut it apart and re-weld it myself. This is so unbelievable that I can't believe someone let it pass inspection. I'm not even going to return it because I'd be afraid it would get shipped back out to someone that doesn't know better and it breaks off going down the road and kills someone. I'm a QA/CWI and I've seen crap but this is unreal. I will be posting this online because this trailer manufacture should not be producing welds like this or letting quality like this leave the factory.

I looked at this for several month before I purchased it, I thought it was over priced but finally bought it. Opened it up and thought it looked worth the money though. Was disappointed that the holes did not match up to a standard 15" 4 1/2" bolt pattern. I had to drill another 1/2" hole and that is not as easy if you don't have the tools. The bolt on the bottom plate was too long to tighten this down and had to be changed, now I'm thinking was this really worth 80 something bucks. I'm not sure.

Product works perfect, as described
This spare tire mount is exactly what I needed. Holds my 8-lug spare perfectly and securely.Addressing some of the comments I read below before I purchased:My spare tire mount came just as I expected: welds looked fine, paint was fine, holes with my 8-lug tire lined up just fine. Even if the paint looked bad, it's probably sitting in their stock yard like most trailer products waiting for purchase.FYI, I do not own PJ Trailers and it fits the stake pockets on both my trailers perfectly.

Great spare solution.
Perfect solution allowing the spare to be moved if in the way or add an additional spare. Had to re-drill for proper bolt pattern on my trailer but overall great solution.
