I wanted to love this detergent so bad but I don't. I have 2 small children that attend daycare and school, which means they come home with all sorts of stains and smells on their clothes. This detergent didn't get anything out.

This laundry paste is great! A little goes a long way too. I took and chopped the block up into smaller cubes and put it in my own container with a gallon of warm water to dissolve and voila! Great liquid laundry detergent. It doesn't really have a "scent", just clean soap. I'm sure if you preferred a smell you could easily add a couple drops of your own essential oils to the mix, although be careful doing so as essential oils are often too potent to store in any plastic containers. The only thing I didn't like was that the print on the included label easily rubbed off. Would be nice to see that label with a protective coating of sorts.

The product came as a block of paste in a plastic package. The instructions were to add the paste into water. (I think a gallon). Wow...it was as if I was washing without detergent. I didn't notice any great stain cleaner, or any of the other perks described in the comments, and product information. Very disappointed to have wasted my money. Won't buy this again.

I found Tangie detergent when I was thinking about making my own. This is better, not just easier but better for our particular life. Working, making art, making food (slow, yogurt from scratch, etc.) all the joys that take time mean that I had to choose where to put time and money. But on to the clothes: clean, smell good (like clothes & nothing else unless I add a bit of essential lavender oil) & truly less wrinkled out of the drier despite not using dryer sheets. Better for the planet, a small thing to do but little changes spread over time & shared with others makes a substantial change. I am grateful to the folks who make this detergent.

This organic, natural laundry detergent is fantastic. It cleans all my laundry like a charm, and without leaving harming chemical residue on my skin which has helped with my skin allergies. A tip regarding the paste: cut what you need and leave it in enough water for a few hours so it dissolves. I did this on my vacation and it worked perfectly. The softener is included within the soap so you also save money in the long run. Highly recommend. Packaging also eco-friendly and it comes with instructions.

I love it--clothes are clean and fresh using small amount of liquid. No harsh chemicals to make your skin itch. No lingering odor on your clothes like other products. The price is so low--I am definitely ordering this again. You do have to shake the container each time but it is a small inconvenience for the benefits. Give it a try and see if you aren't a believer like me.

I've been using this laundry soap with such great results. The laundry is not only clean but also feels softer than with other detergents. I don't even use dryer sheets anymore. A little goes a long way saving me money, too!
