This all natural wooden soap dish is elegantly simple, but incredibly effective. The wooden slats lets excess water to drain off and allows the soap to dry thoroughly. Two wooden rails keep the soap dish elevated off the counter and allow air flow underneath. Of all the soap dishes we have used, this one keeps our soap the driest. When exposed to water all natural wood products will "discolor" or darken unevenly. This is normal and part of the charm of natural wood. Soap dish is assembled with glue. No nail, staples, or other metal hardware are used, eliminating the possibility of rust stains on the dish or counter. Soap dish measures 4 1/4 inches (110 mm) by 3 1/4 inches (85mm).
