Makita LXT Battery Charger

Awesome brand product for awesome price. Works great.

I'm a repeat buyer for these. Never any problems.

I'll try to condense this story as best I can. The Chinese make all the Makita charges now and in their usual marketing ploy, they've almost made it impossible to figure out model differences and features. I wanted the 18volt XLT charger to match my own pro XLT tools. This one was about $58, others were cheaper...that could have been just the vendor....dunno. I get the charger and it does not say XLT on it anywhere and it's a lot different from the pic on Amazon. So I argue endlessly with an "offshore"(her words) consumer service rep. Eventually, she understands what I'm saying and agrees to send what should be the XLT charger. Says to keep the other one, but I don't want it. The XLT comes and it's like the one in the pic. But....it's absolutely dead and not functional....no light comes on when I plug it in and no charge to the batteries. So now I have two charges to go back and I'm not any closer to getting what I want. They sent both chargers in a 'pouch' instead of a box. The second one had a slight dent. When I get a refund, I'm not sure what I will do, because I'm not a glutton for punishment and this is a nightmare so far. I feel like there's a good chance if I order again, I'll get one like the first one.

I have no dislikes my old one died and this was it's replacement.

Nice and easy to use charger. The fan during charge is louder than I expected. The unit also gets quite warm. I would make sure it was set in an open area with good air flow. The noise level from the fan would only be an issue if you had to spend time close to the charger in a small work space. Sliding the battery packs on and off is easy and they latch in with a good solid feel. For the price and quality I don't see any reason to buy a knock-off brand unless you are looking for one that charges more than one battery at a time.

I'm a finish carpenter and this works. Many months later, still works on charging my 6.0 batteries.

商品届いて早速充電しようとコンセントに刺そうとしたら、プラグの差し込み部の片側が幅が広くて入りません。インプットを見たら120Vと書いていたので、本当に日本仕様？と疑ってしまい、すぐに返却しました。

充電完了時に音で知らせてくれるので、助かってます🙆‍♂️

すぐ届き、普通に使えました！

やっぱり純正に限ります‼️安心感が有ります
