replaced my waterpic
I became so frustrated with Waterpic devices. THe first one I bought 25 years ago was great. Every one since then has had some flaw in it's design and they last about 1/3 as long as the old one. I didn't want another "Waterpic" because of their poor quality. So I tried the Interplac....It was okay but not great. This one is as good as the waterpic. It's easy to use, good pressure. Does the job. Only had it for one month so the durability still to be determined. But at least it's not a "waterpic".For a comparable price as the last waterpic I bought, this is a better appliance.Addendum: It's been three months now and I am totally happy with this device. I am glad I bought it.Add #2: Six months now and I love this unit. No problems, easy to use, works as good as new. I use it every day.#3. It's been a year now and I am still completely pleased with this product. No complaints at all.#4. Approaching two years, (three months short) and I noticed that the motor makes a slight moaning sound when I turn it off. The unit still works great. No leaks, good pressure. I use it every day.#5 Finally gave it up. The motor got tired and inconsistent so I had to toss it. It lasted just over 2 years. I would rate this as the best device for the $$ that I have ever used.

Great product!
Update: It's been over 3 years and the unit still works great! I've used it at least once a day since purchase and over the past year or so, both my son and daughter use it too. The kids really like it because it's great for cleaning in-between their braces/expanders. I steal it away from them from time to time for travel, so I've decided to purchase the travel version of the ViaJet. I'm hopeful that the travel version will hold up as well as the Pro has.I had been looking for a good water flosser and got caught up in all of the negative reviews of other products. Being that there seems to be very few to really choose from it made it difficult to find reviews on alternatives. I do spend time reading the reviews and although some lack merit I find that it uncovers trends about the products.Anyway, the bottom line is that this product is made extremely well and is very powerful. The water reservoir is made out of an almost unbreakable plastic which is important when you think about the odds of it hitting the floor someday. NO LEAKS, which is what many others complain about with other brands.I am very pleased with it so far and I've been using it a few times a week for about a month now.

I think that it is a really good product so far.
I received a rechargable waterflosser on 10-2012 because I was recently informed by my dentist that I had gum disease. I really liked how it worked and how my teeth felt afterward. My wife and I used it daily for about three month until it died and would no longer hold a charge. I decided to get another irrigator because I know we would continue using it and could justify the expense. I did not want another waterpik because the last one was not reliable. I read many reviews that mentioned problems with leaking and unhappy customers that had bought old waterpiks that lasted for years and that the new ones were junk.I did however find a lot of good reviews about the ViaJet pro. Both of us really love it. I like the tank that allows you to clean all of your teeth with one fill. I like not relying on batteries for power. I think that the waterpik had more power but my wife thinks the oposite and it and does an excellent job cleaning. My wife has bridges and crowns that were extremely difficult to clean with floss but the ViaJet blasts them clean in no time and little effort. We have only had it for 3 months with two people using it twice a day but have had no problems with leaking, power, or product quality. If product quality is important to you I will mention that the ViaJet is made in Taiwan and the waterpik is made in china. I will let you draw your own conclusions.

Well-made effective product, great seller.
I've replaced this product that worked great for 8+ years with the exact same model—which says it all about my satisfaction with it. My dental hygienist always can't believe that it's been as long as 6 months since I last saw her. The Viajet Pro Oral Irrigator flushed particles out that even careful flossing misses. It's also good for my gums, which my dentist reports are in great shape.About this seller: they deserve extra kudos. The Viajet Pro arrived with a broken cover for where the tips are stored. When told of this, they immediately shipped a replacement, no questions asked. Can't ask for better service. Things break—especially these days with the pressures on shippers dealing with enormous volume. It's what the seller does about it that really counts. A+

Great, still fine after 9 months
We purchased this to help my daughter keep her teeth clean after getting braces since flossing is so difficult. It works well and she had no problem managing it. It keeps on working with no loss of power after all these months and I have done nothing special to it. Another fantastic use of this is for clearing an ear plugged with wax!! My son has this issue once or twice a year and we usually go to the pediatrician who uses the same sort of device to clear it. Yeah people say not to do this but it is safe if you use common sense. For this purpose I put in very warm water with about 1/3 hydrogen peroxide. Turn the power way down and hold the nozzle well outside the ear canal. Only increase the power gradually so that it feels strong but still comfortable. This works best after treating the ear with wax dissolving drops for about 10 minutes. Sometimes it takes a few treatments but it works perfectly well with no ill effects.
